"You’re my once-in-a-lifetime, baby.”
This book had me laughing, swooning, crying, and feeling completely whole. I didn't know what to expect reading this but I'm really happy that I got to finish it.
So a brief background, Scarlett is working as an assistant photographer for Archer's sister-in-law. Her contract is only for a year and she was honest since the beginning how long she would stay in that job. And then Archer came into the picture, they met at the wedding of one of his brothers. It was an instant attraction and that same day they hooked up. But after that night, weeks have passed without them seeing each other. Then they met again did the same routine and decided to have a friends with benefits situation since she's leaving once her contract ends. They agree not to fall in love, but we all know that is a freaking lie, because obviously they'll eventually do.
Archer is the epitome of a freaking green flag, the guy is straightforward, honest, open and he's never afraid to show how much he cares for Scarlett. He's always there for her, making sure she's fine and happy. I was crying reading his POV almost at the end, when he's so in love with her but he didn't want to clip her wings. He said she'll always be the love of his life, but he doesn't want to be the reason for why she can't go after her dreams. Maaan, this guy is willing to let her go and wait for her even if it means breaking his own heart.
Then we have Scarlett, this girl is a firecracker, confident, honest, and no nonsense woman. I really love a head-strong heroine and the way she holds herself is so refreshing to read. But she's also scared of losing people in her life. She was an orphan but when her parents adopted her, she finally found a family that chose her. Then few years back both of her parents died leaving her alone again. As a result of this, she traveled to places because of her photography job but also because she's looking for that feeling of being home. Then she saw a job posting in Willow River and decided to stay there for a year before moving to another place wherever it may be.
Like I said, their relationship started with a friends-with-benefits situation, but as months passed by. They slowly fall in love with each other, up to the point they actually dropped the love bomb and became a real couple. Buuuut, this development in their relationship doesn't change anything. Scarlett is still hell-bent on leaving after a year to pursue her dreams and Archer is still willing to let her go even though he never wanted to.
The last 15% of the book broke my heart because they both know it's coming but it still painful to read the MCs readying themselves to finally say their goodbyes 😭 Tbh, it wasn't clear how would they work around with their situation after she leaves. It was just implied that she could still go back at the Willow River and Archer will be there waiting for her. Idk, if that means they would be in long distance relationship or that they're truly broken up but would still continually love each other from afar. 🤷♀️
Anyway, the day has come for Scarlett to leave. And fuck this scene, I cried my heart out reading their pain. I was ugly crying over them, and I just want to shake Scarlett and tell her not to go away. But she did, and while on the road she saw a letter from her late mom stuck in her car. This letter gave her guidance and shed some light about the decision she's about to make. Thank God! That letter made her realize that Archer is one of the best things that happened to her.
Overall, I enjoyed this so so much. I loved every minute of it and I wished I could re-read this again. I only took the 0.5 ⭐ because Scarlett made me cry so hard with her decisions. Anyway, this is a book worth recommending and reading if readers are into small town romance and found family.

Stay Wild- Archer and Scarlett

It’s Archer’s turn. I bet everyone thinks it’s Ryder but nope, we have to wait another book. Ugh poor guy
So Archer is watching each brother drop like flies and can’t deny that he wants that. He wants the all consuming love, the babies, the family..but he knows his turn will come. So when he is at a family gathering (there are so many I can’t keep them straight) he sees Scarlett. The town is so small, his family taking up half of it, so it’s very obvious when a new person arrives. So Scarlett, is snapping away on a camera, which is confusing because his sister is the photographer in town, but nonetheless, there is Scarlett. Red hair, Beautiful, so very beautiful. A feeling like he has never felt crosses over him.
Scarlett has moved for this one year contract. She is a photographer and her new boss set up an interview where Scarlett takes pictures for an event, her new boss’s family event. No pressure, right? But she did it and Palmer hired her for 1 year. Scarlett isn’t one to stay in one place for any extended period. She has no other family and is alone. But being around this huge Kincaid family is bringing out feelings Scarlett has never felt. Especially when her and Archer strike up a friendship with benefits deal. They promised not to fall in love but how can you not fall in love with a Kincaid man, and their family?
Another great read and sweet story. All of these Kincaid men are swoon worthy. So sweet, so attentive, so romantic. Looking forward to the next story..finally Ryder’s turn.

Archer like his brothers is bound to fall hard. We just hope the woman is worth a Kincaid brother. Enter Scarlett, a great addition to Willow River, but she is temporary. She only has a one year contract with Palmer. Her free spirit has her looking for her next adventure. I love how Archer supports her dreams, but their chemistry is so good. Can they work it out?
Their story is going to pull at the emotions, the Kincaid family will continue to get laughs, and I have fallen in love with family a little bit more.

The last few chapters in this one will have you close to sobbing! I hated what was going on, but also understood that things had to happen that way, if there was a chance at forever.
Right from the start Archer and Scarlett had some wild chemistry and went with it. I liked that Scarlett kept telling him not to fall in love with her, that she was only here for a year. So with a phrase like that you know what is going to happen.
It was fun to see these two get close, for Scarlett to experience the large family she always wanted to be a part of, to be one of the gang, to always be welcomed. Everyone knew there was something going on, there were warning from them all, even Dad Kincaid had words for Archer, the right ones, which led to Archer's actions at the end. Him doing everything he did not want to do, but had to. I'm just glad that Scarlett realized what she was really loosing if she kept going and promptly came back with the blessing of her family.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.
Scarlett is new in town, she has just excepted a one year contract as a photographer at Palmer’s studio. Her interview is photographing Sterling and Alyssa’s wedding. She’s having a great time meeting all the Kincaids and hopes she gets the job.
Archer has had his eye on Scarlett and decides to make his move. They banter a bit and quickly realize they are wildly attracted to each other and decide to hook up. Archer says his goodbyes and they leave the venue with Scarlett following him home. Their sexy times are hot. Their night together turns out to be the best sex of their lives for both of them.
They hook up again a few weeks later and again, the best sex ever. She had told him from the beginning that this was just for fun and not to fall in love with her. She doesn’t believe in love she says. But in reality she’s just scared, she was given up by her birth parents, at four she was adopted out of foster care by a lovely couple who couldn’t have children. They were a happy family until her dad dies unexpectedly and a few years later her mom gets sick and dies. So the only family she had is gone, again. Feeling adrift she decides to follow her dream of being a travel photographer, it’s a promise she made to her mom before she passed.
Archer’s life is the complete opposite, he has known love his whole life, he is surrounded by it. He’s close with his parents and very close with his brothers. He is sure he can keep love out of their hook ups. But he is thinking of her all the time and wants her with him everyday.
They keep their hook ups on the down low until girls night out. The girls ask her to pick a single Kincaid brother to be her one. She says she can’t choose. The men all show up at the bar and join the girls and Scarlett winds up sitting between the twins, Maverick and Merritt. One of the girls suggests that a kiss will show her which Kincaid should be. Archer is not happy with this. So when both the twins give her chaste kisses on the lips he’s ready to stake his claim. He walks over to her and lays a hot sexy kiss on her. She participates. The guys quickly figure out these two know each other and kind of razz him. Ryder tells him to be cautious since everyone knows she going to be leaving in one years time.
More family events and more hook ups lead to feelings. For both of them soon they are saying I love you and no longer hooking up but make love when they are together.
As her one year gets closer to ending they are both conflicted, Archer wants to ask her to stay but knows he can’t ask her to give up her dream. Scarlett is torn between following her dream and wanting to put down roots and stay with Archer.
The scene of their last morning together is heartbreaking. I loved how his whole family came to support him. They knew her leaving was going to wreck him. They say their goodbyes and she drives off. Crying so hard she pulls over and while getting a tissue she finds a letter from her mom saying to read it when she is at a crossroads in her life. She reads a beautiful letter from her mom and decides to go back to Archer, dreams can change and it’s ok. He’s surprised to see her and she worries he can’t forgive her for leaving but of course he is just shocked she’s back. Lots of I love yous, tears, hugs, and news of a new baby from Palmer and Brooks. I love how the family keeps growing. Scarlett’s epilogue a month later, he takes her back to their fishing spot and proposes. (The fishing spot is where they had some very steamy outdoor sexy times.)
Archer’s epilogue is beautiful, it’s their wedding day and he’s given a letter from his mother in law, labeled to the man my daughter marries. She says how proud she is of Scarlett and she knows that he’s a good man since she choose him and that her and her husband would have loved him too since Scarlett loved him. It ends with him ready to marry the love of his life and Ryder getting a message that Jordyn is back. (She left for an internship in Europe without saying bye to Ryder and he has been trying to keep their relationship alive from home. Their book is next.)
I loved Archer and all the babies and the interaction with the family. Although it was less than in previous books. With Scarlett struggling with the loss of her parents I would have thought Carol and Raymond would have played a bigger role. She does have a talk with Carol near the end but I was expecting more.
I liked Scarlett but I also wanted to shake her and then slap her out of her crazy fixation of leaving. I get it she was scared but Archer is a dream man and his family is freakin fantastic, how could she not see that. Also why couldn’t she compromise and take either fewer assignments or schedule down time between her assignments and come home to Archer. She acted like her leaving was it, she was cutting all ties with him. She only briefly mention’s possibly coming back, while Archer said repeatedly that she had a home with him, that he would always be there for her. Even the family said that, their doors would always be open to her. She was to bull headed.
Blakely was wonderful and funny as always. Loved that her mother wrote letters to future Scarlett to read at milestone moments in her life. It showed how much her mother loved her.

Stay Wild is the fifth book in Kaylee Ryan’s Kincaid Brothers Series.
Archer Kincaid is living his life with no attachments and that’s the way he likes it. But when Scarlett enters his atmosphere, Archer’s mindframe starts to change and he sees the potential in finding what his brother’s found. There’s just one catch, Scarlett has a year contract and then her wild a free spirit will be moving on to her next photography adventure…
Scarlett made a promise to her late mother, she would live her dreams of becoming a freelance photographer and traveling the world. And a promise made, is a promise kept. She was fine living her life day to day with no plans and no attachments. Until Archer Kincaid stepped into her life. It was only supposed to be a fling, with a promise not to fall in love with one another. Can two wild souls have the ability to ground one another, or will their hearts end up in scattered pieces on the floor….
My Thoughts:
Archer Kincaid for the win! Hands down, Archer is my newest favorite Kincaid brother! Stay Wild hit me with the very best, all the feels, moments! Scarlett was the perfect match for this man!
Two wild hearts and free spirited souls find one another. Scarlett is on a mission to live her dreams and find herself. After losing her adoptive parents, Scarlett is dead set on keeping the promise she’s made to the only mother she’s ever known, even if it means leaving her heart behind in Willow River. What I loved most about Scarlett’s character is her fierce independence. And independence that was learned, but not taught. I knew by the end of this novel that independence was going to land her one hell of a heart ache. I’m not even kidding, I may have shed a few tears during this moment.
As for Archer Kincaid, I loved how caring and compassionate he is. But I also loved the fact that this man turned into an alphamale as soon as he set his eyes on Scarlett. He knew she was the one his soul cried out for. But he also knew you can’t clip a wild bird’s wings. My heart broke the closer they got to Scarlett’s year long contract deadline. They had fallen at first sight, and I knew this was going to be the heartbreak of all heartbreaks!
One thing I love about this series is the strong family bond the Kincaid’s share! I loved the banter, the words of wisdom, and the heart surrounding this family. There is never a dull moment when it boils down to this family… my heart was, and continues to be, invested! I can’t wait to see what she brings to us next!!
Now, let’s not forget the spicy sexy time moments. If you like clean romances with fade to black scenes, this isn’t the one for you. But if you like your romance sprinkled with a hint of spice… I highly recommend this series and Stay Wild! Kaylee Ryan’s Kincaid series is getting better with each book!

I swear these Kincaid Brothers just keep getting better and better and I honestly have no idea how!??!! I mean I keep wondering how in the world is Kaylee gonna top this book this brother and then she goes and does it!! Now don't get me wrong I love all of these Brothers and still don't know who I would honestly pick as my favorite. I think I would like my own RH book with all the Brothers. But after I read the latest book that brother moves to the top spot. So it's Archer's turn and oh boy is it Archer's turn. He is just so smooth and so sweet but get him in the bedroom and that mouth turns dirty and I love every single bit of it!! And Scarlett she is just a smart,sassy firecracker and I love that she is wild and free. They are truly a perfect match. And their chemistry is volcanic and explosive!! But lord this book broke me more than any other book in the series!! But they way this family dynamic is, I swear I absolutely love it!! Stories like this is my bread and butter and make me the happiest while reading them. And I can't wait for the next book in this series!! Like if you haven't started this series yet. Idk what you are waiting for especially if you are fans of Aurora Rose Reynolds you will love Kaylee Ryan!! This is a fantastic read and I highly highly recommend!! It made no difference that I hadn't read the other Kincaid brothers stories because Kaylee Ryan had written it so it read like a stand alone...and it was easy to follow and I understood completely what was happening. I have to say I fell in love with the Kincaid family the brothers and wives and their adorable children, the camaraderie between them all is so warm and funny, I felt all cozy inside whilst reading. This is Archer Kincaid's Story and he is just so swoony I couldn't stand it. He is the type of guy who wants to find love like his brothers and start a family but he seems in no hurry to do so....And then Scarlett attracts his attention. He is mesmerized with her beauty and turned on by her independence and feisty personality. Scarlett is in town for only 1 year a photographer she will be working with his sister in law at her photography business. She encounters Archer Kincaid at a wedding and the chemistry between them is instant and they go home together and spend a passionate night that is unforgettable. The thing is Scarlett has abandonment issues and is afraid of losing people like she lost her adoptive parents, so she doesn't do relationships. She is a free spirit and wants to travel she doesn't like to be tied down, plus she is only here for a year so getting into anything with Archer is a NO. They agree to a sex only relationship, they will only contact one another when they want to hook up and that's it. The problem is lines begin to blur and lines get crossed and rules are broken that were put in place for Scarlett's protection. Archer Kincaid is truly irresistible he is a sex god and knows all the right moves to please a woman, plus he is sweet, funny and easy to talk to. Can she take a chance on love and finally find some roots and have the family she has always longed for.?
These two are perfect for each other and are so compatible in and out of the bedroom, I love the fact that all the Kincaids embrace Scarlett. Oh this book is just so good, I love Kaylee Ryan's writing it drew me in straight away I loved the wit and humor, and the characters she has created they are all so easy to fall in love with. I definitely want to find out more about the Kincaid brothers I am already curious about the other single brothers and what their books will be. Stay Wild is a FANTASTIC read and I thoroughly enjoyed my time reading it. It's super steamy because Archer and Scarlett are HOT !!!..Sweet, Funny with just a little bit of angst. I relished every page.

Dang, I loved this book from the first chapter, Scarlett is a confident woman who knows what she wants, and Archer is what she wants. And Archer, omg this man wanted his firecracker from the get go. His love for her and the emotions...hell🥲 I loved it.
The chemistry set the pages aflame and the steamy moments where 🔥🥵🌶️...the emotions and love the both of them had for each other was perfect and the honesty between them was something I just loved ♥️
The last few chapters had me in tears but the writing and how everything came together was just perfection.

I think Archer may have just became my new favorite Kincaid. The chemistry and connection between Scarlett and Archer is 🔥 from the very beginning. Unfortunately, we have a case of right person, wrong time. But we all know by this point the Kincaids motto of “Work hard, love harder” and Archer did not disappoint. I loved how in tune he is with his own emotions and he embraced them. Grab your tissues for this one, you’re gonna need them.
Scarlett arrives in Willow River on a short, one year contract with Captured Moments (Palmer’s photo studio). She’s a perpetual loner and free spirit with a passion for being a travel landscape photographer. As a baby, her birth parents relinquished their rights, sending Scarlett into foster care for the first 4 years of her life, at which time she was adopted. In her teens, her adopted father passed away, and a few years later, her adopted mother passed away. She is all on her own now with lifelong abandonment issues and a determination to fulfill her dreams of traveling the world and not stay put in one place for long. But her greatest desire is to have a family to love and support her.
Archer Kincaid, one of 9 Kincaid boys and a cousin, 6 of which are married and have babies already, has family in droves to dish out love and support. After a one night stand with Scarlett and promising not to fall in love with her (but not her pussy 😏😉) they really do try and stay away from each other, but Willow River is only so big, and she works for his cousins best friend, and they had the best sex of both of their lives, they’re bound to cross paths. Will Archer be able to convince Scarlett that he chooses her or will be go their separate ways at the end of her contract?

Stay Wild ❤️ 4.5 Stars!
I have never cried so hard in my life. Holy smokes that last 30% had me so choked up and tears pouring out of me. These two were incredible. They have such an intense and instant chemistry that they build upon as the story goes. They start as a more physical connection and it was heart warming to watch them each open up to one another after the year together and fall more in love.
Stay Wild. What a fitting title for this story. Scarlett is the free spirit. A nomad of sorts who is scared to put down roots. Archer is probably the definition of roots. He, and all the Kincaid, love in such a big way and the women they all love just add to this blended group they call family. I’m sure it’s all intimidating to someone like Scarlett who lost her adoptive parents and feels so alone. It was so sweet that Archer supporter her dreams of traveling, even if it broke his heart. They just got one another and I love their love so much.
I adore this whole family and all the kids. I loved seeing our previous couples as their story evolved and I’m so glad the timelines were spread out so we get so many babies along the way. Blakely continues to be a one girl comedy show and will have you cracking up with the things she says (mostly repeats). Now we are down to our last three single brothers and that epilogue gives us a hint to Ryder’s story with Jordyn but I really want the twins’ stories! I can’t wait for their goofy selves to fall so hard.

What a heart-breaking story! With most of his brothers getting their HEA with the girls of their dreams, Archer is at an impasse in his life where he wants what they have and is over the playboy lifestyle. When he meets Scarlett, the newest employee of his sister-in-law’s company, he’s instantly smitten and the chemistry flies, and thus starts the back and forth between the two. Scarlett has had a rough childhood starting in foster care and then ending with being adopted, although by the time she becomes an adult, both her adoptive parents have passed as well, which starts her free spirit mentality and lifestyle, focusing on traveling the world and not staying in one place for too long. She takes a year contract with Palmer’s business, and while she initially fights the feelings she has for Archer after they meet, once they give in, they both know there is an end date to their relationship, which doesn’t make things any easier. My heart broke for Archer, he truly fought so hard for Scarlett and their relationship, but she was determined to continue her dreams, and he was going to let her go in order to hopefully have her come back to him. Thankfully, things work out for these two in the long-term and they get the HEA they both deserve. Can’t wait for the next installment!

It was just beautiful and completely captured my heart and attention from the moment Archer sets eyes on Scarlett and when they give each other nicknames... Boom! I just knew it was going to be good, and I was so right!
As perpetual loner and free spirit Scarlett lands in Willow River and gets a job working as a photographer with Archer's sister-in-law Palmer. But she's only staying for a year and then she's moving on determined to capture her dream of photographing landscapes and seeing the world.
After all, she's no family to come home to after losing both her adoptive parents.
Yet, she doesn't count on the large, loud, loving Kincaid family. Who embrace her and fill her life with love, friendship and family. And Archer himself, who provides Scarlett with a friends with benefits deal. Which not only results in the best sex of her life. But Archer listens, supports and cares something no one has done in a very long time.
But is that enough to have Scarlett rethinking her plans or will this free spirit, firecracker stay wild forever?
And with lots of family feels, adorable characters, humour, heat and sweetness. This was a truly gorgeous read, and I'll definitely be reading the books I've missed out as I just need more Kincaids in my life ASAP!!

I swear I will never get tired of falling heart first into the Kincaid world. I love when I start reading and I immediately feel like I’m home. I keep telling myself I’m not gonna fall for another brother. There’s no way Kaylee is gonna top the last one and yet she does. I also told myself Brooks was always gonna be my favorite but oh my goodness Archer might have just topped him.
Stay Wild was so much fun to read. It was filled with so much love, laughter and joy that I had a hard time putting it down. Scarlett is a sassy free spirit and Archer is such a sweetheart but in the bedroom he’s anything but sweet. ( Oh that mouth!) They are the perfect match. The chemistry between is so explosive. But this book had me such an emotional wreck by the end.

Stay Wild is book five in the Kincaid Brothers series and man do they just keep getting better and better. I fell in love with Archer, and he is now my new favorite Kincaid brother. Scarlett and Archer share a chemistry that is super intense, and they shared a chemistry basically from the get-go. Watching them build on that was nice, and I also loved watching them navigate their feelings and emotions towards each other. I loved that Scarlett was more of a free spirit kind of person, while Archer is the definition of roots. They complimented each other nicely. I loved the storyline, the characters, and the last part of this book had me all messed up. Such a great read.

Words cannot express how much I loved Stay Wild!! It is, hands down, my favorite of the Kincaid boys. Scarlett is a free spirit photographer who’s dream is to travel and capture the world through a lense. When her travels bring her to Willow River for a year she’s immediately taken with Archer. As the year passes the lines start to blur but Archer refuses to let her give up on her dream. He makes sure she knows she always has a home in his heart and he’ll be waiting when she’s ready. This book will have you in tears, laughing and swooning throughout it entirety

I have loved all of the Kincaid brothers but Archer might be my favorite so far.
Archer and Scarlett are a perfect match. Can these two keep their hearts out of this arrangement they have? Will Scarlett see that dreams can change?

This book was such a fantastic read! I just love the Kincaid family & Archer was just amazing!! I really can’t say enough wonderful things about this book; the characters & their chemistry were off the charts. Scarlett & Archer make another amazing story for this family that we just can’t get enough of.

I swear these Kincaid Brothers just keep getting better and better!! Scarlett and archer are soo cute ! Scarlett is a traveler and don’t like to be pinned down and archer has his while family and can’t leave them. I love how archer showed Scarlet what Home meant it was really special to see all of them together so much.

I really liked that these two had a friends with benefits arrangement that slowly became something more. It was instant chemistry but a slow build to that special Kincaid love. I’m not surprised but I love how welcoming this Kincaid family is. Archer was one of my favourite brothers & I loved his relationship with Scarlett. Scarlett was a wild soul & Archer nurtured that. They had a special connection & it made for such a great read!

Stay Wild follows Archer Kincaid who is just every bit as amazing and funny as his brothers. However as his brothers have found their HEAs he has not been lucky enough until he meets Scarlett Hatfield.
I'm a sucker for the whole " this is a casual relationship, nothing serious' and this one did not disappoint.
The passion between Scarlett and Archer is everything and I loved the effortless way they both fell for each other.
Loved the way Archer supports and understands Scarlett need to be free.

This was so sweet! Archer was so in love with her and fast. He was soft and sweet and treated her like she was his everything. This story was perfect. This was a new to me author and I will definitely go and read all of this series.

Out of all the stories in this series, this one made me cry the hardest. Archer was a favorite since the beginning with his easy going nature but good God I was not ready for him. The way he let her do her thing and loved her hard, has solidified him as my favorite Kincaid brother.

I was bouncing in my seat knowing I was getting more of the Kincaid's with Stay Wild. I was very ready for Archer Kincaid and he did not disappoint. He was everything a Kincaid man could be and more with arm porn (if you know you know, the model on the cover was very well chosen).
I jumped into this as soon as I got a chance and from early on you could see where it was going, I actually had to put it down for a while because I knew it was going to get emotional and I wasn't ready for it. Their story was fun, flirty, and a little dirty, but when Kaylee threw in the emotions toward the end it was a kick in the stomach (but in a good way). Not a lot of books can do it, but you made me cry Kaylee and even thinking about it now while writing my review I feel those same emotions. Archer Kincaid breaking was a painful joy to read.
Archer is one of nine brothers and Ramsey (cousin but more like sister), he's in the middle somewhere I'm not exactly sure where but I think I need to go back and remember where he belongs in the nine. He's a real man working a real job, he's a mason, and laying brick and block gave him his glorious arm porn. He works hard, loves his family hard, and lives a happy life.
Scarlett is new to Willow River, she has taken a one-year contract to work with Palmer in her photography studio. She's free and wild and plans to travel and pursue her dream of travel photography and despite her recent losses, she's happy and fun-loving. Since the death of her parents, she's been on the move, from one job to the next, one place to the next. Willow River is just a stop on her journey, with no place or people to tie her down and a promise to her mother, she intends to reach her goals.
Neither planned to fall so I'm sure you can see exactly how that worked out for them. As a reader, getting to join them on their way to find their happily ever after was fun, emotional, and pure joy.

Knowing that she will be leaving doesn't change how she sees Archer Kincaid though.

As time runs out on their clock they only fall further knowing goodbye is coming no matter what they do.
