Thursday and all the mice who live in the organ loft in St Mary's in the Valley are planning to launch a showboat. Harris, the vole, with his limitless fund of riddles and jokes, is to be head of entertainment, Baron Munchen is to deal with the technical part - the engine and the dial-a-meal service. Thursday is to be captain. There is one problem: Thursday hasn't the faintest idea how to sail the SS Whatsit.
