An 8x8 storybook based on the latest Warner Home Video release! In this swash-buckling adventure Scooby and the gang match wits against creepy pirates!
A quick, and for the most part, silly story about a ghost ship, which the gang encounter during Fred's birthday holiday. Images are the same quality as the cartoon show, and the story line is very abbreviated, making sometimes the story seem 'jumpy' from one scene to the other. More suitable for readers.
This was really good. We met Fred's parents. They booked a Bermuda Mystery Cruise 🛳 for him and his parents for his birthday 🎂 🥳. I like watching shows and reading books 📚 about this.
We love all things Scooby-Doo, so whenever we find a Scooby-Doo book we haven't read yet at our local library, we just have to borrow it.
This is a fairly typical Scooby-Doo story, taking the gang on a cruise. This is a good picture book, with a short narrative and lots of colorful, action-filled illustrations. It's a movie tie-in story, which condenses the cartoon movie into a short book.
The only problem was that our girls have watched this movie over and over and over again, so although they were thrilled to be reading the book, they also were sure to point out the discrepancies between the book and movie. Still, we all like these books and we enjoyed reading this one together. They are quick, fun reads and I love trying to imitate Scooby and Shaggy.
Summary: To celebrate Fred's birthday, his parents are taking the whole gang on a special Caribbean cruise. But it's trouble ahoy, maties! Eccentric billionaires, mysterious castaways, and to top it off, a band of ghost pirates! Can Scooby and the gang get to the bottom of this watery caper before it's time to walk the plank?
