Bash is book 2 in the Laurel Falls Possessive Mountain Man Series by Cindy Smoke.
Bash is a homebody computer genius. He reluctantly agrees to allow his sister to bring her roommate, Sloane, along when she comes for a visit.
Sloane is excited to tag along with her roommate and finally see Laurel Falls for herself. But when she realizes her roommate is setting this vacation up with hopes of match-making, she is sure nothing will come of it. That is until she lays eyes on Bash.
The chemistry between them is instant, and the banter hilarious.
This is another cute quick read. I am enjoying them so far. Nothing deep here, folks, just sweet, steamy, and fun. The next book goes along with this one as it features Bash's sister and best friend, so on to read that one!.

I absolutely loved this book!
It was fun and so good. I couldn't stop laughing or giggling at some of the scenes. Bash and Sloane had such a playful and witty relationship that I just fell in love with them. Their love and attraction were instant and we get to see how quickly and easily their relationship developed. It was a great drama-free novella. I loved how different it was from the other best friend's brother's books. I would totally recommend this book to my friends. :).

Wanted to love it but it turns out ‘Instalove’ isn’t the trope for me.
The spice was fun. A few giggles too.
Too many eye roll moments for me to truly enjoy this short story.
If you like things to move super fast - as in meet, fuck, fall in love, get married & then pregnant before either character has a chance to actually get to know each other - this might be the book for you.

Cute
Let me start out by saying, not my cup of tea. I did choose the fast track insta love to by some time, but I'm not into the corniness that comes with it. I gave it a 4 because for this type of style it was good. I liked it and can appreciate the story line. If it had more of that exciting build up I usually thrive on, it would've been worth a 5. My fault for only able to give it a 4.

A quick read. The story was easy to read and follow. The characters are likeable and fit well together. This is the first book in this series Laurel Falls. Looking to see where this series will go.

Good for a 85 page book... I would give it 4 stars but I'll give it a 3.5 only because I don't rate novellas the way a rate longer books.
