Mama Begonia is BACK

I fell in love with these characters in book one and have continued have continued to as I awaited part three. It has arrived and I was fulfilled. I see from the back of the book via a sneak peak that Ms. Simmons will be bringing some supporting cast to the forefront and I can’t wait to read about Portia and her crew. This series is a recommended read for any young girl who is in trouble, being abused, a teenage mom, skipping school etc. this series will give hope to the hopeless.

Young dumb and full of cum as my grandma used to say is the best way to describe Violet. No more is she the book smart girl that we knew. Now she is in love and of course it’s with the wrong dude and he dragging her down and FAST. Being love struck she can’t see what's right in front her until it’s too late. She is going down HARD. Will Begonia be able to save her, she is sure gonna die trying. The shenanigans that they get into will make you keep reading to see how it will turn out. Can Begonia can once again be the family savior? We are thrust right into the story without much explanation of what the girls have been up to. Its not hard to follow along in the very quick read.

It was a nice kick off to see these characters go. I have to say we should all be so lucky as to have friends like these that were gracing these pages. Everybody is always hollering about a ride or die chick, these ladies were some ride or die friends and that for me was the best part of the story. Your emotions will be torn with each book in this trilogy. Ms. Simmons is making quite a name for herself and I am a supporter of hers.

I was given unedited version of book. So my review is based solely on story. I do hope that the editing was done correctly for the final print.

5.0 out of 5 stars 'Everything that I hoped for is gone now...buried in the ground...all my hopes and dreams...'

A disillusioned, disgusted, and dismal Violet chose a man that provided her with security, a home without struggle, what she thought was love over the unconditional love of her loyal and unselfish sister, Begonia and family. When Violet is violently attacked and assaulted with Kyle's callous approval, Violet finds herself with a broken heart, betrayed beyond measured, and ashamed of her actions toward her family. She seeks comfort in the two things that could destroy her sister...and all she really wants is for Begonia to once again save the day, because she has always been `the sister's' true shero. Begonia and Daisy have been separated by the system, but Begonia is stubborn and determined that she will not lose another sister. She becomes a menace to Daisy's foster parents, all the while never accepting her role as a child.

Violet's suicidal tendencies are overriding her common sense, will she be granted her wish? After years of being beaten down and not acknowledging the blows, will Begonia finally succumb to the thunderous clouds that seems to always loom over her family like a curse? Trouble plagues this family with every step they take, can Begonia single-handedly save the day? The adversaries hold all the royal cards, minus one, will Begonia be able to pull the ultimate heist for the love of her family? Ms. Simmons has penned the ultimate finale to such a wonderful series that is overwhelmingly dismal, yet the reader will not be able to put this read down until Begonia Brown has spoken! Begonia Brown is a bad motor scooter!! She's my shero for sure!!! Kudo's for such an excellent tale! I loved the supporting characters and their vivacious personalities and can't wait for their exciting stories!!

The Finale.

Violet: After being violated, Violet is alone facing a major prison term with big decisions to make. She now wishes she had listened to her older sister Begonia, but it’s too late now, what’s done is done. She has withdrawn from everyone, so who is going to help her out of this mess?

Begonia: By day checking in on their no good mother, by night doing her routine break-in to check on the little one. For a while there was no news on her sister Violet, but Begonia didn’t believe in the saying “no news is good news” and sure enough when the news did come it for heartbreaking. Family is EVERYTHING to Begonia and no matter what it takes she vows to reunite with her sisters.

This is the final book in the series which brings a conclusion and ties all three books together. I liked how the characters came together when someone they loved needed help…and these gals were willing to do whatever it took.
I love the character Begonia Brown, and she is the sole reason why I read all three books! Begonia is a tough cookie but she has a heart if you can just get past her outer shell. In book two a teacher discovered she has a special talent, one that if she lived a different life she could possibly make a good living from it. I wish Ms. Simmons had touched on that again for this final book and given me some hope of a future for her.

I enjoyed this book as well as the previous ones; my recommendation is for this author to utilize the services of a proof reader prior to publishing.

I know readers who’ve met Begonia think she’s awesome and it’s my hope Ms Simmons will bring her back again in another story.

First off let me say I loved Begonia Brown, and when that book finished I knew I had to read the final installment based on Violet. When first starting the book I knew I was in for a treat. Ive been to Philadelphia several times, but to witness the struggle and the lives of those in that city is something totally different. Julia Press Simmons brings all of her characters back from Part 1 of the Strawberry Mansion and part 2 of Begonia Brown, for a final showdown and these girls do show out. When Violet is the victim of a horrible rape, she fights the desire to live, eventually finding herself behind bars. It is up to Begonia and all the girls from the trilogy to bring the guy who put her there to justice. In Violet you witness a bond between females like no other, willing to get down and dirty and even sell their soul to help a friend. I loved the final installment in this book. Although it lacked editing, it never took my focus off of the story and I look forward to new books from Ms. Simmons.

Finally completed the whole series and it only took me a few hours to read the last part. this last part really focuses on Violet but it also brings everyone together in this book. In this part you get to know the characters a little more because a lot of them are older now and some are living differnt life styles then they were in book one.

This series had things that could be happening in real life so it allows the people reading it to connect to the whole story or to certain characters in the book.

All the girls from strawberry mansion come together in this book to help out Violet who is in a lot of trouble. Even though they are all not blood related their friendship couldnt make them any closer and they all come together to do what they have to do to help out Begonia and her sister out.

I would recommend this series to people because overall it was a goodread. There were a few errors with editing in the book but overall was a goodread.
