One of your favorite Heartsong Presents romances, A Place Called Home, is now available as a complete and unabridged audiobook. Jeb will never settle down. At least that's what Beth's husband-to-be always said about his cowboy brother, Jeb. Since Harland's death, Beth has worked to create a home for Harland's two young children, Cassie and Lucas. Now, it seems that Jeb is coming to claim the only family he has left - and Beth's heart is broken at her loss. When Jeb rides into town, though, Beth's traitorous heart pushes aside all questions of his wanderlust, and she enjoys getting to know this exciting man. Will Jeb live up to his reputation and uproot the children Beth has come to love - as well as her affections? Or can he be persuaded to call Roswell home? I got to travel back to Roswell, New Mexico territory to visit a very special family. Beth Morgan is taking care of her deceased husband-to-be's children until their uncle Jeb can be located. (which Beth hoped never happened). After hearing that his brother passed away and he had a niece and nephew that needed him, Jeb travelled to Roswell. What he found wasn't just a house and great land, it was a family he instantly loved and a beautiful woman who he wanted to marry. Beth worried he would leave and take the children away from her, believing Jeb would never put down roots. Jeb never for one moment thought of wandering anywhere but, can he convince Beth?
A nice little religious romance story. Beth's husband to be, Harland got killed in a cattle stampede and Beth's has been taking care of his two children while the authorities tried to locate is only relative his brother Jeb. Beth's secretly hope he is not located as she has come to care for these children as her own. But he is found and shows up to claim his brothers children. When Beth and Jeb meet a little spark on interest passes between them. This is the story of what happens to them and the children. A nice little story.
If you like a story where every single character is perfect and nobody has a bad day, this book is for you. The children were faultless, the adults were perfect paragons of propriety and goodness. I personally found it unrealistic, juvenile, and annoying.
