At least it is interesting and a new take on Shakespearean characters. That being said, this is clearly Nguyen's earlier work and his later plays are so much better.

My god where do I fucking begin. I’m a firm believer that scripts are just the skeleton of the performance and without actors interpreting the script it’s not supposed to read as well as it is on stage. So I want to give this play the benefit of the doubt and I know this was from the geekchic period of the 00s but this is undeniably terrible, you have lady MacBeth fucking a TEENAGER. You have the r slur, you have a horrible plot. When I read that Qui Nguyen writes for Marvel I was so unsurprised. The paper thin quipping is so cringe it’s unbearable. Unbelievable this man would go on to win an Emmy for a PBS children’s show.
