Moonlight Wolf

34 books61 followersGrowing up, I was a relatively quiet child, often found with my nose in a book and my mind drifting away in one fantasy world or another. Thanks to my father, I became interested in books at a very young age, and used my local library from the age of five with profound glee at having a whole new world opened up for me.
I absolutely loved Stephen King and James Herbert, but as time went on I found new favourite authors like Laurell K. Hamilton, Sherrilyn Kenyon, and Christine Feehan, to name but a few. Yes, I’m a fan of the supernatural, especially the ones with a love interest, even if they are rather bloody.
I worked many jobs, from bar work in my parents pub, which my self confessed anti-social part of my personality called to an end, to office work, where I could spell but not type speedily enough, but at the end of every day I still took solace in the land of the monsters, magic, mayhem and love.
Over the years, my local library was my second home, so much so that they decided to monitor the amount of books I read in a year. The total came as much a surprise to me as it did to them, and it was around then that I had the initial stirring of thoughts for writing my own.
My first book was inspired by a wolf who always plays a starring role in the recurring dreams I’ve had since I was a little girl. I admit to having an affinity for wolves, so it was second nature to me to start with a story of a presence that has been with me for so many years.
I spend my minimal free time being the family referee, mother, grandmother, and walking my German Shepard/Husky, Cain, for miles, some of which makes it into the books I write.
