This soft, sci-fi novel, will keep you turning pages as it challenges your beliefs in what you thought you knew about human evolution, conspiracies, spirituality, and life in the universe.
I read this book until about the 50% mark and I couldn't take it anymore. The writing just seemed amateurish, and I did not care for any of the characters or what happened to them. My biggest complaint was all the New Age junk that was thrown out there. As a Christian, it was too much for me to take. DNF'd at 50%. Not recommended.
Pros: Good storyline. Interesting characters. Kept me engaged. Cons: Writing style seemed a bit juvenile. Obvious facts overstated. Seemed a bit preachy at times. All in all, a good read. Glad I had the opportunity to read this book.
I don’t usually read Sci-Fi’s. I learned more about a few new science terms: nova, portal, ufologist, ambient energy… Kind of slow going for awhile, but I enjoyed the intense energy that went into returning Jenna to her parents.
