This was a great book. Even though it was a little below my reading level, it was still enjoyable. This book was the combination of all 4 books in the series. This adventure book also had a twist of adding some mystery and history into it. It showed the cultures of lots of different places.
This series took place around the world starting with a excavation in Egypt. The main story in the series is to find the 4 Talisman of the Moon. There was quite a lot of action nicely interwoven with history, culture, and mystery. Adventure book interest me, especially when it's add to by history, culture, and mystery. All in all this book I would recommend it to others.

Would not recommend unless I found a third grader looking for a book.
*Quite boring, predictable, any hint of tension is relieved in less than three pages.
*Multiple story lines never pan out (spoilers: Ethan Cain, the curse, why the moon is important)
*The characters are very 2D, and I felt that honestly it easily could be taken as sexist. Josh is better than Olivia in every way and very often is more immature and dumber in general.
*The plot of all four books are largely similar. With a few details and characters tweaked, this a collection of the same four books.
*Not exactly a terrible read, just boring with some random problems.

I appreciate the book and the writing style, I do not necessarily like the fact that all the stories are compiled into one book. It makes managing the book hard because of its size. I also feel like the first story should have been continued and became a long book or even series. After I read the first story, I got 15 pages into the second one and quite because of the fact it was the same premise of the first book. I personally would like to have seen the first story continued rather than you restarting the story.

This is a fun read packed with history and adventure. Not only does it deliver with page-turning suspense, but it has a lovable duo of levelheaded, cunning, adventurous characters. This is an interesting and lively story.

I read this series a long time ago. I was searching my bookshelf for something good to read, and I found a large book that contained all of the books in the series. I think I really liked this series because it really captured, well, legends and myths and added real life to them. Also becuase the series took me around the world. But like I said, I read the book a long time ago, and now I think of it as just ok.

It was a fairly good book, despite that it was well below my reading level at the time. (I read it when I was nine, and at that time I was reading at a college level. I think. I stopped keeping track when I was in second grade and reading at a twelfth grade level.)
