Linda Francis Lee is a native Texan now calling New York City home. Linda's writing career began when her article "There Is No Finish Line" was published in her university's quarterly magazine. But she got sidetracked from writing when she started teaching probability and statistics. Later she found her way back to writing, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution called her breakout novel, Blue Waltz, "absolutely stunning."
Now Linda is the author of nineteen books that are published in sixteen countries around the world, in languages as diverse as Japanese and Russian. Two of her most recent novels are in development for feature films, and she is in the process of co-developing a television series set in her beloved Texas. Lee's next novel, her twentieth, is a large work of fiction about the redemption of a man, and will be released in 2011.
When Linda isn't writing, she loves to run in Central Park and spend time with her husband, family, and friends.

One of the stars is here only because one star less would mean pure garbage.
So, nothing worth remembering, excepting the fact that you have to spoil something, in order to fix it later and be happy. You, your heroine and the hairdressers which seem to be your target audience.
That and one kind of a regret: if I had a dollar each time the word SEXY/SEX is mentioned in hotchpotch, I could enjoy an entire week on The Azure Coast, all inclusive...

Kate, Chloe, and Julia are best friends, co-workers, and life-long neighbors. Each has a story and the author carries their friendship through each book, often with e-mails at the beginning of the chapters.

This is the third book in the Sexy trilogy. They are entertaining and quick reads. Each book has sexy men and women who really don't know who they are, but it is enjoyable finding out who they can be.

Julia is the rich and wild daughter of the owner of KTEX TV, at least she is until he dies suddenly and she finds out that everything is mortgaged to the hilt and the station is losing money. She decides the best thing to do is change her whole way of life and become a career-minded dowdy girl. Getting in her way is Ben Prescott, who is staying with her while he recovers from a gunshot wound he got while looking for the drug dealers who killed his partner, and while Sterling and Chloe are on their month long honeymoon.

This was like 3.5 stars. Only because it took me 2/3 of the way through the book to finally get into it. The last 1/3 of the book was 5 stars for me! There was a huge twist that took me by surprise and the ending was all kinds of Awwww sweetness :)

O carte relaxanta si plina de siroposenii. Deși pare ca deja totul e un cliseu, cartea asta a reușit sa imi atraga atentia.

I finally got a copy of the last book from this 'series', if you could call it as such! And like the other two, I've enjoyed this one too. :) I love Julia's spunk and the way she handles Ben. I love how Ben turned out to be a sensitive guy. As usual, I enjoyed how some parts of the story were told through e-mails. The e-mails between the 3 girls are witty and funny at times. I do wish that there were more of the 3 girls and yes, the other two men (of course it would be hard with Jane and Sterling out on their honeymoon). Hahaha.. Really, after Suddenly Sexy, there had been really small parts of Jesse in the other books. Won't it be more fun if we see more of him? :)

My friend Nikki gave me the first book of the series and I was hooked. I think I read them all in less than a week. Very cute and quirky characters and a cute love story

Preferata mea a fost a doua cu toate ca fiecare a fost deosebita in felul ei. Mi-a placut mult jocul de-a soarecele si pisica dintre Chloe si Sterling.

This series gets better and better, this book is the best in the Sexy series, which I really enjoyed reading. Consistent with the previous books, the same theme about changing and fear of attachments revolve around the story, but because of the events and the well-written plot, the is the most interesting. I can't even begin to describe the witty and humorous banter Julia and Ben exchanged. Excellent character development, although Julia is the focus of the story, picking up where she left off, life on her own, and changing for the better, Ben is the perfect antidote, he's also healing his wounds (physically and emotionally). Two broken halves found each other to be whole. This story is rich in drama, humor, a lot of emotion, and intensely passionate love scenes. One minute they're arguing, the next minute they're tangled in each others arms. One would think they're using sex as a way of comfort, in this story it does give comfort but before things got serious, Julia and Ben came to realize that they can share more than just a quick roll between the sheets. Best parts are when characters reflect on their actions and how they feel for the other person, it's brilliant. Astounding piece of literature, if I could give more than 5 stars, make it 10. Had fun from beginning 'til the end.

Perfect ending to the series! This book was about Julia and Ben. She is trying to get her life back together after she had to sell her station to cover all of her father's debts. She decides she needs a whole makeover for her life starting with herself. She swears off tight clothes, her wild ways and most importantly bad boys.

Ben wants nothing more than to find the man who killed his partner. Unfortunately, he gets laid up with an injury and the only person that has time to help him get better is Julia. He can't believe that Julia is walking around in big poofy dresses and mild clothing. Despite his belief that he can't stand Julia, he still wants her to act like herself!

Julia decides that she needs a show to make up for her tanking career, and she comes up with the an idea based on Ben himself. She wants to do a show about changing a ill manner Neanderthal into a suave gentleman. Too bad, he doesn't want to participate.

I really liked how this series connected all the characters together and kept up with their story lines. You still heard about the other women and how their lives were. I would definitely read other books and series by this author. Fantastic!

This was probably my least favorite of the three books, and I'd rate it closer to 2.75.

Julia is the orphaned daughter of an absentee, daredevil of a father. She tried to keep his TV station running without help after his death, but during the last book, his expenditures were too much for her to handle. This book opens with her trying to reinvent herself - not just her career, but her personality and warddrobe.

It also opens with Sterling's brother Ben (Sterling the hero of the last book) being shot in the line of duty and needing a place to recover. Julia offers to take him in so that Sterling and Chloe can go on their honeymoon.

It didn't really grab me like the last book, and I didn't enjoy Julia as much as Kate from the first book.

I was happy that Julia got her happy ending, and one of the best lines was in it, but I'm glad that the trilogy ended so I won't feel compelled to buy anymore of these books.

Just like in "Sinfully Sexy", a Reality-TV-Show needs to be produced so that the main protagonist - here it is Julia - can save her job. The author obviously couldn't think of any other way to integrate a 'rival in love' into the story. Although rival is not the correct label, since this "Primal Guy" is coming nowhere near Julia. In contrast to Ben, who is very much interested in Julia and temporarily lives in her house while recovering from a bullet wound. But of course he doesn't want a relationship because he does not need any more complications in his life. Same goes for Julia, and so the two of them just 'tease# each other a lot and in the end... well, you can probably guess.
Thrown into this all is also the hunt for the killer of Ben's partner (he is a cop), and the solution to this is a bit surprising. But all in all the story is not worth the read and can easily be skipped if you're only interested in the 'sexy' passages.

Quick, cute, easy read (and series). I have found this series to be light with likable characters. Both Julia and Ben were "players", they liked to get jiggy and had great sexual appeal to the opposite sex- I find this unusual, most books it is one or the other. As in some of her other books, I find the author should give into the sexual chemistry between H&h earlier in the book. The H&h have a slight hook up, which is very, very hot scene under a desk, and then I don't feel the book does justice to their chemistry and too much side story is given- it almost that they don't care about each other not just fighting against the connection. The ending is very satisfying, more drawn out with love confessions, connection, romantic dialog instead of a quick conclusion like some of these lighter romances.

The women of KTEX Julia Boudreaux station owner and her two best friends Kate Bloom, Anchorwoman and Chloe Sinclair, station manager. El Paso Texas will never be the same.

Simply Sexy (Sexy #3) – Can bad-girl Julia Boudreaux turn her life around and start over? Why oh why is she drawn to those bad boys and how is she to be good when the baddest bad boy of them all Ben Prescott is staying in her guestroom?

Going in I thought this was just going to be a light fluffy romantic escape. Which isn't a bad thing. But while these are fun, sexy, romantic reads there is an underlying theme that deals with our self-image and how it is molded by our parents and out past. This phenomenon is not just restricted to women. I enjoyed these books.

The last of the trilogy!!! I actually think I like this one the best. There's more substance to this story than in the two previous books. It brings together a bad boy, Ben Prescott (Brother of Sterling, book 2) with a girl who isn't intimidated by his act, Julia Boudreaux. She's just sold her father's business but wants to prove that she can hold her own as a producer under a new, young station manager who basically wants her gone. To top it off, she's got to take care of Ben Prescott in his hour of need despite her initial disdain. Does she make it work? Well...it is a contemporary romance. :)

This is the 3rd book in the series and if you haven't read the first two I would start with those! If read in order they are great books! It truly is a wonderful series! In this one is the story of the 3rd of the group of friends! Julia is starting over and you get to be there from the start! In the process of starting over she falls in love! It is a great story with lots of ups and downs! Iecommend all 3 books in this series!

I definitely think this trilogy would have made better movies than the 50 shades books. Like I've said in previous reviews of these books... different books, different stories yet they were tied together. All 3 books had great romantic love stories, done tastefully.

Hoffentlich lag es nur an der Übersetzung, dass mich die Qualität dieses Buchs so enttäuscht hat. Langweilige Story und hölzerne Dialoge.
