In this concluding chapter of the 'Letters To God' series, Norhafsah Hamid takes you on a final journey of tender love, heartfelt friendship, and reaffirming faith through Divine Blessings. * * * Sarah and Jonah are blissfully content after their marriage. Their friends — jaws, Linda, and Mat Bond are all leading happy lives despite adjusting to the commitments of adulthood. Through ups and downs, their friendship remained strong. But in life, love and happiness require hard work and sacrifice. For some, life will come to a beautiful full circle -proving that eternal happiness is for everyone, even if one was once, so far away from God. * It is easy to give up on everything when one is drowning in hardships. But there are divine blessings in life, if one seek them with eyes of mercy and gratitude.
Norhafsah Hamid was born in 1973 and received primary and secondary education in Malaysia. She then proceeded to pursue her studies in United Kingdom until she graduated with a law degree from Reading University, United Kingdom. She completer her Bar in Malaysia and went back to United Kingdom to work for a year. She then came back to Malaysia to commence her practice as an Advocate and Solicitor, specializing in civil litigation matters. She completed her Diploma in Syariah & Legal Practise and has been handling various Syariah matters.
Currently she has taken a break from civil practise and co-founded an NGO called 'Nadi Anissa Muslim Women Organisation. she now dedicates her time to her family and Islam.
The ending makes me cry. In this last instalment of the Letters To God serie, Norhafsah introduced a new character, named Amelia, whose wife of Mat Bond. At the same time, Norhafsah had literally killed a character that I have grown to be fond with in the previous sequel. But its a perfect ending nonetheless.
This is the final journey of tender love, heartfelt friendship, and reaffirming faith through divine blessings. Sarah, Jonah, Jaws, Mat Bond and Linda, all living happily in spite of adjusting to the commitments of adulthood. Their friendship remained strong.
Norhafsah being a little cheeky this time, had included her own feline named Sam as one of the "character" besides Fluffy. Not just that, Sarah's educational background is actually Norhafsah's. That is how personal a novel could be to an author.
I'm not going to talk about the plots and writing style. It is smooth, entertaining and an emotional ride for me. There's some things that put me off : plenty of grammatical and spelling errors. For that sole reason, I have to say I rated this book 4.5⭐️. Please Iman Publication, do better next time. I kept one of my eyes closed in the the other books. But I just can't this time. Because it snatched away my focus.
Last but not least, I will never feel tired of recommending all of Norhafsah's books. Fiction, or non-fiction. Please keep on writing and inspiring people.
If you need a novel about love and friendship with THE RIGHT MUSLIM PRESENTATION, this is it. Every single books in this series, I can say, can be read as a standalone. BUT all of them are connected with all the characters backstory.
Divine Blessings is an epilogue for the whole characters in this series. In this book, we see how Sarah, Jonah, Mat Bond, Linda and Jaws adjust to their new commitments as they have new additions to their own family. It is quite sad knowing I have been through with all of them ever since their journey back to Reading University and this time is just another chapter in their life. The three couples have their own ups and downs in their relationships and I learnt about strengthening your faith towards Allah, how redha affected your journey to move on with your life and with patience, Allah will reward you with much greater things.
Although Divine Blessings end with a bittersweet ending, I was honestly satisfied with it even though I cried a bucket. This book also shows us that we could never run away from being tested by Allah and there is a silver lining in every cloud. As time goes by, I’ve been showered with their friendship, laughing through their shenanigans, joining them through heart breaking moments and cheering them over happy moments. Till this day, I’m still thinking about them as they have a special place in my heart.
Thank you Iman Publication for sending me this book in exchange for an honest review.
What an ending! What's life if there's only happiness right? Okay that's enough spoiler 😇
Love on how everything is wrapped up nicely... These 3 couples, Jonah-Sarah, Jaws-Linda and Mat Bond-Amelia has their own ups and downs in their relationships but they are all given attention they deserve in this final installment of Letters to God's series.
I've been searching for when the phrase "Divine Blessings" will be used, but when it first appeared, it gave me a bittersweet feeling.
Alright, change of topic! Now that I have a sneaky sneak peek into Amy's story, I absolutely can't wait for Amy's story in "Will You Stay?"! I couldn't believe even myself when she told Sarah about her life update..like it's so unexpected but would love to look into it in more details ❤️
The very final saga for #LettersToGodSeries. The fifth book alhamdulillah.
This is more to adulthood journey after Jonah & Sarah, Jaws & Linda andddd Mat Bond got married. If you wanna know who is Mat Bond wife, you need to read this very final saga. InshaAllah you will like it. How chaos Mat Bond with their kids 😅. . I would say this book gave me a very bumpy ride along the way. Sometimes, i can't help myself to keep smiling like a "kerang busuk" reading their beautiful love towards each other. Sometimes i will get angry to Carmen like "excuse me please go away from their live!!!". Sometimes i lol-ing to their some jokes part. I love their friendship! HASHTAG FRIENDSHIP GOALS!!! . And most of the times i will cry my heart out.. like i can feels what they are going through.
Mind if i can give some spoiler? At the end of this novel, one of the important character die. In a beautiful way. I can't help myself from crying 😭 I felt like someone who is very dear to my heart gone because i follow this series since 2017, so it gave big impact to me 😢
This series, precisely Sarah, Jonah, Linda, Mat Bond and Jaws taught me a lot about how to be a better me. Kak Hafsah really did a MashaAllah nice writing for each character.
Can i pray that later in Jannah, i wanna meet them? May Allah grant us the highest level in Jannah so that i can meet them. If that possible?
Although this is The Final Saga, i won't bid them a goodbye.

This book perhaps is like an epilogue to the whole saga of the characters in Letters to God series. Though the storyline written more towards about the life/story of Sarah and Jonah, there are sub-plots still going on between these two characters; they go about the other characters' life too. Which I find, makes it there not really significantly a main plot and the story has not quite strong storyline. It's kind of (to me) felt like the story is going places and every plot and sub-plot were just combined together to make/achieve a one whole book.
I get that the author wants to emphasize on the characters' strong friendship and really portrays the theme about the divine blessings, it worked but for me not on the very best way one. Like, I kind of feel some of the scenes too randomly fitted into the story and there are plots that were also cliché.
I did cry in a few scenes along the story. Yet all in all, this book is a light reading, and overall an average story for me.
5 stars. The fourth book of the series offers blissful ending and closure. Through Sarah and Jonah, i learnt about finding and strengthening of faith. Through Jaws and Linda, I learnt that losing your loved one is a test from Allah which requires redha to move on with life. Through Mat Bond and wife, I learnt that there is a silver lining among the clouds. Patience and efforts would be rewarded, Insya-Allah. A book to keep and read again.
The themes that the author brought to Letters to God sequels are very clear. Its about family, love, patience, and friendship.
In this concluding piece, i had a high hope for it and longed for more narration on others stories, unfortunately i got Sarah’s and Jonah’s cliche love story excessively. I also wish next time editors could be more meticulous on the details in the book cuz i saw some bumps along my reading. Its also alot of repetition in this book which i found quite jarring. Nevertheless, i appreciate this book that outshine the beauty of Islam and how i envy their friendship tho. Damn! I bawled my eyes out in the last chapter. All in all, such a great book to read.
This book introduced me to the beauty of Islam. Together with Sarah, Jonah, Mat Bond, Amelia, Jaws and Linda's friendship really touched my heart. Norhafsah Hamid really did a great job in this sequel. I've read all of the series and I told you, this is one of the best from Norhafsah Hamid. She also showed us how calm Islam is, how beautiful the relationship is built with Islam.
The end. I can truly sense the emotional weight Jaws must have felt the day his wife left him.
I appreciate how the author skillfully captures Jonah and Sarah's steadfast commitment to protecting their marriage, along with the strong bond of brotherhood between Jonah, Jaws, Mat Bond, and their wives.
Linda’s journey is especially remarkable. She started as an irritating character but evolved to another different person by the end. Its a reminder of how easy Allah can change anyone. A perfect conclusion for her, inshaAllah. It also makes me reflect on what my own ending might look like one day.
Thank you, Kak Norhafsah, for curating such a heartfelt and fulfilling story. I look forward to reading more of your books.
4.75 stars This final installment of the series followed five friends on the journey to adulthood a.k.a marriage life. The book is primarily focusing on Sarah and Jonah's life, but there are some chapters about Mat Bond, Jaws, and Linda's stories. Amelia was introduced as a new character, and I love her personality. She is Mat Bond's wife and Sarah's closest friend since she married Mat Bond. Their friendship warms my heart. She was there when Sarah at her lowest and happiest moment. Plus, we get an update about Amy (Sarah's childhood friend, as mentioned in the first book). I wondered if the author forgot about Amy since she had no longer be in the other books. This series is more of a character-driven story instead of a plot-driven story. We followed the five characters' deals with life challenges, found happiness and been through the darkest moment, and the meaning of friendship. Linda shows the most apparent changes. I adore her. However, I think this book is suitable for a relaxing read. If you are hoping for more dramas, this series is not a great choice., Also I spotted some grammatical errors. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to start reading but not sure what kind of genre suited them, who was in the mood for 'light' reading, and who loves to read books with less "drama''.
I think there are three major incidents in this book that triggers my emotions. This part is going to be the spoiler part. Please stop reading if you are yet to finish the book. The first one is when Jonah's entire family accepted Islam. It was a heart-touching moment. Next, when Sarah lost her unborn child. It must be hard to recover from the pain, and I can feel it too, although I'm not in her shoes. Lastly, when Linda died. That was the most unexpected scene ever. I did not see it coming!! I'm on the last chapter, so I thought, "ah, this will be a happy ending where five years later, they will have a reunion and happily watching their kids playing". I'm in tears the moment I read the scene where Linda is gone. WHY ARE YOU PLAYING WITH MY EMOTIONS!! It's almost ending!!! But I think the author did her best to wrap up the series. It is still a happy ending. Indeed.

"𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀. 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀." Divine Blessings (the last sequel of Letters To God) narrated by Norhafsah Hamid about family, friendships and love between Sarah and Jonah, Jaws and Linda, Mat Bond and Amelia together with their family. This time I am very satisfied with the storyline because it is amazing things to read compared to other sequel of these Letters To God. Even though it's a sequel, I can tell that Divine Blessings can also be read as a standalone book but without knowing the past story. I love it this time, thank you author.
This book tells us about Sarah and Jonah story after their marriage and it was great things for us who want something to be guide for in fiction way. The way that author wanna tell us about their love story is so respectful. This contain no romance at all which is good for me at least lol. I love it so much. And the new character was build, Amelia, which is Mat Bond's wife, I love her too. Amelia caught my heart when she stayed at Sarah's while Sarah is pregnant and is away from her husband. This is so sweet of her and their friendships too.
The ending was so impressive for me because it made me cry at the end of the last chapter huarghhh I really stand this book. I love it this time. For me, who wanted a cheeky + cute story with a great plot, I think you guys should pick up this book soon. Even though, there's still a mistake and some typo's in it I still love it as long as I understands it. Overall, I love this book. This remind me back when I read Malay novel back then when I was in Secondary School. But this book is much light than other Malay's novel. Not too long but full of lesson and knowledge about Muslims' life.
"We have to faith in God's plan. He will give us when it's right. There's always a blessing behind every hardship and insha-Allah there'll be relief."
I'm so happy when the final sequel arrived at my home. I've been waiting a right time to read this book😍
This book is the final sequel Letters To God from @norhafsah.hamid. It is about Sarah and Jonah where they have no children despite being married for years while their friends, Jaws and Linda and Mat Bond and Amelia already have their kids. However, both Sarah and Jonah live happily together. Sometimes, they give some help to take care of Mat Bond and Amelia's triplet.
Even they have been married but their friendship remain stronger. Always have for each other, supporting, helping and cherish together. It shown when Sarah and Jonah lost their first child, Amelia and Mat Bond come to comfort the couple and when Jaws lost his wife, Sarah and Jonah and Mat Bond and Amelia quickly go to Kelantan from KL to comfort Jaws. It is such a beautiful friendship.
To be honest, when I read this book, my emotion changes many times. There was a time, I laughed crazily and then I cried badly.
Lessons I learn from this book: 1) Love, life and happiness require hard work. If we want to live happily, choose the path that can bring us to happy life as long it is not violating the boundaries of religion.
2) Always put your hopes to Allah. He will replace something better when He took something you loved from you. Let it go and always have faith to Him.
3) It is a blessing to have a good friends and family who always give their endless support and love. Appreciate everyone around you.

I finished the series already 🙁 bro that ending was not it. The miscarriage was already hard on me. But Linda..🙁🙁 no cuz I saw her when she was really mean because she was brought up spoiled by her parents. And then see her getting heartbroken and turned to Islam. And watched her fall in love with Jaws, the guy that she always fought with. And see her become a loving mother. And she passed away birthing her fourth son 🙁 imagine how her parents felt. No cuz her mom mentioned before how her heart fell when she knew she couldn't get pregnant again. And then she lost her one and only child. Jaws..🙁🙁 the way I whimpered while crying. Only a few things could get me to have that kind of meltdown and this book has managed to bring that side out of me.
On the bright side, I love Sarah. I love how she carries herself, manages to become a good Muslim, and how she wants people to respect her. I wish I could be her. She's my idol fr. May Allah grant me a spouse better or as good as her husband 🤗🤗 mat bond and Amelia. I love them too 🙁🙁 jaws and Linda allahu. Will always think about them.
I cried so much reading this series. The part where they reverted to Islam. When Sarah miscarriage. When they made their dua, and more. This series made me want to become a better muslim. I love how instead of the toxic preaching, this book talks about Islam in the most beautiful and comforting way possible. This series single handedly ended me and I want to read more books from Nurhafsah Hamid 🤍

This is the concluding book for the Letters to God series. I think I cried the most while reading this book? Compared to other series. There are so many useful advices that we can grasps from it.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt is that, every single one of us have our own path. Our own story. And even though we might not walk on the same path all the time, but sometimes our path intertwined somewhere along the path. That what makes us connect with each other. All of these can be seen in Divine Blessings.
Each one of the characters grows, became matured as time goes by, living their life by improving it day by day to be a better Muslim. Ma shaa Allah. Some people said, the story is too perfect. That causes it to be flawed. For me, the perfection that was shown in this book, was a result of whatever they faced before. They outgrew the problems, in their own ways. Each one of them.
You will learn about patience, redha, and perseverance throughout the story. May Allah opens up our heart while reading this book so we can learn something from it. In shaa Allah.
P/s: I wasnt expecting the plot twist and hm I cried la during that. Whoever read this book already will know Im talking about. Sobs. (Susahnya nak describe tanpa bagi spoiler 😂)
"Crying does not mean you're questioning God's plan. It means that you're human." - Norhafsah Hamid, Divine Blessings
Divine Blessings is about the gang's life after the events in Heaven Sent (Sarah's POV), Rough Diamond (Linda's POV) and Dear God (Jonah's POV). It shows their journey after each of their marriage and being parents and its ups and downs.
One of the many things that I love about this LTG final installment is the gang's friendship, especially the friendship between Sarah and Amelia. Despite the fact that Amelia was a new character, I felt like she has been apart of the group the whole time. She was so strong and she was so supportive towards Sarah, and I LOVE the banter between them. The shenanigans that the gang faced are also hilarious and heartwarming. 🥰
I enjoyed the marital relationships between the couples. They were sweet and balanced, and they faced life conflicts TOGETHER. Goals!!😍 But, the fluff and sweet moments that was served throughout the book COULD NOT have prepared me for the plot twist at the end. 😭 It was unexpected and frankly heartbreaking, but I guess I can understand the point of it.😢
I’ve finished this book last week. It is the last book in the ‘Letters to God’ series. Basically, it potrayed all of the characters’ life after they got married. . . This book shows us that we could not run from life trials.Everybody will face that in their lives. But, having a a great support system like family and friends do make a difference. . “It is easy to give up on everything when one is drowning in hardahips. But there are divine blessings in life, if one seek them with eyes of mercy and gratitude.” . So, whatever comes in your life, always be patient and be grateful. Make duas so Allah could ease your burden.
The whole story mostly structured on Jonah and Sarah and it was good! Feel little bit tricked though 😂🫠 The worriness and sadness of Sarah regarding conceiving babies finally solved, and thought that's the ending! But NOT THAT WAY! 🫥 It's only one chapter left and jeng jeng jeng... someone gone ☔ It's soo sad, n lowkey hope there's more Linda and Jaws part, but make their life more disclose also attractive haha. All in all, worth reading :)
The story is sequel from letters to god. Its a story after their college life but their friendship still stick strong. All of them help each other went they need. "Friend in need is a friend indeed". Just love the friendship, the support, the positiveness and the trust between their friends. Nice story, inspiring character.
I appreciate how the ending took a different approach and deviance that most of the novels out there but it also bring a heartache. The book shows a realistic struggles in marriage, relationship and life struggle in general providing a closure for the series and characters. Probably not my favourite book of the series but as a whole, it serve a purpose to demonstrate Islam and reality at its best
Alhamdulillah. Habis juga akhirnya cerita Sarah dan rakan-rakannya. Love the story. Series yang membuatkan saya tertarik nak baca buku fiksyen. Sejujurnya saya amat mengantuk bila baca buku cinta, tapi series ni buat saya jatuh cinta💜
Teruslah kuat hadapi kehidupan ini dan ingatlah Allah sentiasa bersama kita. Berusaha semampu boleh dan yakin dengan Allah.
Can't stop reading this book. I got hooked at the first page and haven't been able to put the book down. Took me 3 days to finish this book, due to work. I shall read all novels written by the author after this.
The last few chapters was the reason why I’ve given 3. I did not expect the sudden twist and I’m crying so bad..but this book teach us so many things and luv their friendship too. Fyi, my fav book from LTG series still heaven sent. At first I thought I will change my mind but nah ;)
