Seperti buku apologetika lainnya, buku ini memiliki Visi penulisan yang tertuju pada 1 Petrus 3: 15. Pada Intinya memberi pertanggungjawaban kepada yang memintanya, tentu saja dalam hal ini terkait hal menjawab atau menyikapi sesuatu.

Menurut pendapat saya, dalam bukunya penulis berusaha memberi jawab terkait empat bagian utama. Yang pertama terkait pandangan orang Kristen terhadap pikiran, Alkitab dan wawasan dunia( yang berupa isme-isme). Bagian kedua penulis menyuguhkan bukti dan argumen terkait Allah, Yesus dan kebangkitannya. Ketiga, penulis membagikan pemikiran terkait dua hal saling berlawanan yaitu ilmu pengetahuan dan mukjizat. Di bagian akhir penulis menyuguhkan informasi-informasi singkat terkait agama historis dan agama baru.

Penulis secara secara garis besar memberikan Informasi singkat, padat, dan jelas terhadap isu-isu dunia dan kekristenan. Namun penulis terus mengimbau pembaca untuk mendalami apologetika. Dan terus menyadari jalan kebenaran dan hidup melalui Yesus.

Meski terkesan sangat singkat setiap pembahasannya. Namun, sangat cukup bagi orang awam mengetahuinya. Secara pribadi saya merekomendasikan buku ini kepada anda yang akan memulai perjalanan apologetika anda.

A good start but it feels a bit ‘light’ - in trying to cover so much (100 different topics) it seems there’s not enough depth. As a starting point it’s okay but I’m going to need to buy several more books to understand and utilise the basic outlines described here.

Recommend if you’re planning further reading but it’s not exhaustive and in-depth enough on its own. Maybe look at some of Lee Strobel’s books ‘The case for Christ/Creation/Faith/Creator/Miracles’ etc

There is a lot of good information packed into these 100 little chapters. It should be treated as an intro to apologetics, since each topic- ranging from science to the Bible to the resurrection- is studied for a mere 3 pages. Thanks, Mr. Paul, for introducing this in 9th grade. I admittedly absorbed exponentially more content this time around.
