Rate this book
I am thrilled to present the second part of “The Seer” series!

Having solved the murder of Rashmi and surviving the close encounter with the supernatural Being Hapaksh, Vikram continues to hone his magic. He also adds a new weapon to his arsenal! His newly acquired skills are soon put to test when a tribal couple approaches him to solve the murder of their son, whom they suspect was killed by a supernatural entity. Can Vikram uncover the truth? Does he have the skills to win against this mysterious Being? On this journey, Vikram discovers the Upper World, encounters a spirit guide, and also meets a familiar face!

The Seer is a fast-paced series, written in first person, with a simple narration that will keep you hooked until the chilling climax!

Don’t forget to pick up the rest of the books in this series and accompany Vikram on his exciting journey as he discovers not only magic and spells but also himself!

I am an engineer by profession and work for a leading MNC in Bangalore. If I was not an engineer I would have been a teacher! I am passionate about writing short stories and am inspired by the works of Ruskin Bond, RK Narayan and Kenneth Anderson. My short stories are a mix of supernatural events, human relationships and everyday life. I like to think of myself as a free thinker, a dreamer and a great singer when no one is listening!

First of all, I would again like to thank the author for giving me the chance to read an advanced copy of this book. As stated previously, this is an unbiased review as I have purchased this on Amazon.

Following on after the battle in book 1, we see Vikram becoming attuned to his
newfound abilities. As he starts to grow in strength, he realises that he will need to defend himself so starts to train, but nothing is easy and his reputation draws another plea for help from another community and he finds help from some surprising areas.

The sequel to book 1 has another supernatural creature to battle, enhanced abilities, both physically and magically, and encounters with beings thought to be lost...

If you like short supernatural / mystical stories with hints towards cultural legends and folk tales, you will love this series. Easy to pick up and get straight into and perfect to read on the way to work or if you have a spare hour.
