This book is primarily made up from older columns letters and anecdotes.

If you like David F energy's wit and wisdom, you will enjoy this book. Some of his other books are available in e-book format. Two notably hilarious books include: Somewhere in Ireland e a village is missing an idiot!and A nasty bit of rough, which is my favourite. Both of those selections are clearly superior in every way!

While a fair amount of this content is republish from older books, there is some new material here - and it's typical Feherty-hilarity. Nice to see a "fuzzy foreigner" giving so much support to the US troops. Slainte, David!

Quite literally the worst book I have ever read. Unless the last 100 pages told the greatest stories ever this was a complete flop as I could not finish this disaster.

Mostly amusing. Nothing great. I'm thinking I never should have picked this as my first Feherty book to read, because there's really not much to it.
You get a collection of fifteen hundred word backpage articles from Golf magazine, mail bag Q and A, and few other random tidbits. Nothing substantial, though. I know what he's capable of, and that better books are out there by him. My fault for reading a collection first.
I think it'd be a great bathroom book, and after having read it, I'm not sure if that's a solid endorsement or terrible insult. We'll never know...

Witty and humorous at times; caustically funny and bordering on mean-spirited at others. The reprints of Golf Digest articles are entertaining and a well-chosen anthology. But the too many reprints of Feherty's Mail Bag seem like filler and short change the book in terms of substance, original or otherwise.

Enjoy David Feherty's wit and sarcasm but this book is a collection of his articles from the back of Golf magazine. Would be a perfect bathroom book (almost all are 2-3 pages) but tough to sit and read. Perfect for something to read in short spurts.
