I've bought several of these over the years and given them to those I know would like to be able to say a few things in Welsh without sounding like a grammar exercise. The situations are ones that you could well find yourself in - the pub, for instance - and there's humour there to move it along nicely. It is a bit dated now but it still has a lot of life left in it.

Well, I've read it through, anyway - I suspect I'll want to return and revise a lot of it! A nice mix of amusing cartoons and accessible exercises. It has dated (the price of petrol! "wythdeg ceiniog y galwyn" no more!) but most of the material doesn't suffer particularly from that.

Easy and fun for those very few people who want to learn Welsh. I really wish more languages had this format available (cartoon dialogues in real-life situations complete with slang).
