Humanity is no longer alone. It is the middle of the 21st Century, and a new world exists in parallel and mimicry of our own. It is a world of our own fashioning, but not one that operates under our control. Agent Marlowe is one of the many virtual servants who populates this cybernetic universe. His User owns a detective agency, but since a human’s career, finances, secrets, etc. reside with their Agent, it is Marlowe who investigates crimes in the mirror of human society. Tasked by his User to find a missing Agent, Marlowe embarks on a perilous journey into the depths of our virtual souls, in which he confronts his own mortality and questions his purpose. If you are what you search for, what’s that say about who you are?
