This was a really great photography book. It's not very technical, so anyone who knows anything at all about photography could benefit from the tips and ideas in this book. It is full of beautiful photography and helps you learn how to get the same stunning results yourself. This is a book you can read from cover to cover in about 30 minutes, but is also a great reference on how to use light and compose your shots. However, if you're looking for something more technical or if you already have some fairly basic photography knowledge, this book will just be a review.

Enjoying this so far! not too technical, more about seeing and feeling the photos, and I'm getting so good ideas! Definitely worth picking up if you are trying to improve your photography skills.
Finished it and really enjoyed it....will be one I refer to quite a bit! Has a bunch of great ideas of what to take! Get it! :-)

Excellent book about photographing people.

Some take away lessons to remember:
use fill flash to prevent facial shadows in harsh mid-day sun
photos w/ a bad color cast can be "saved" by converting to b and w.

I picked it up to learn more about how to take great people photos. It helped me better understand equipment and lighting and how it impacts my photo.

Very good book. I liked that it wasn't overly technical. It was more about technique and challenges.
