THE RIGHT BRIDE As her wedding day approached, Kristin Blair looked forward to it with feelings decidedly unbridelike. Her fiance was fine on paper, but his embraces left her cold - unlike another man who, years before, had ignited her passion and then left her, with memories...and nine months later, a little something more...
THE WRONG GROOM? Though Nick Petrillo couldn't resist one more chance to see Kristin again, he knew he should let her get on with her life...and her wedding. But there was something about Kristin - and her new little "sister" - that Nick found hard to resist. And it made him wonder if, in the wedding game, last-minute substitutions were possible...
Patricia Ann Kay (born March 7, 1937), also known as Trisha Alexander and Ann Patrick, is an American bestselling author of romance novels and women's fiction. She has authored more than 50 books, with four million copies published in 18 countries
Patricia Ann Kay was born on 7 March 1937 in a small town in northeastern Ohio, USA, where she raised along with three younger sisters. She considers herself a very lucky woman. The family didn’t have a lot of money, but she says that didn’t matter, because what they did have was worth more than money — a happy home. Her parents had a good marriage and they doted on their four daughters. That upbringing is reflected in the stories she writes. As readers all over the world have discovered, her books are filled with warmth and love of family.
Pat has lived in upstate New York, Northern Alabama, Southern California, and Stockholm (Sweden), and since 1969, in Houston, Texas with her husband. She says that no matter where she’s lived, she’s found that people everywhere are the same and want the same things: love and committed relationships. The marriage has three terrific grown children. They currently share their home with two longhaired cats, and a backyard filled with squirrels, birds, and other critters. Her hobbies and other interests include reading, walking for exercise, going to the movies and the theater, swimming, and traveling.
In 1990, Pat sold her first romance novel to Silhouette. Since then, more than four million copies of her novels have been published in eighteen different countries.
It made me sick to my stomach. How could you give your child to you parents to raise as their own daughter? I'm just absolutely disgusted by it and for her parents to think that was an okay thing to do.. NOPE YUCK!
I really enjoyed reading this book, couldn't put it down. It frustrated me how the parents could pull what they did, how Nick was full of hatred for so long and how Kristin was ready to marry the wrong person.
It a,so upset me the story they spun on Lindsay. Yes she was raised right but why couldn't they be honest with their roles no matter what society thought.
I give this 4.5 stars. I'm upset that I don't know what happenes after the wedding especially regarding Lindsay, I'd love to see how things change for her, and I'm curious if she heard the fight about her having Kristin as a mom rather then sister. I hope she did and was accepting it all cause she was loved no matter what. Glad Nikk accepts her too.
