Read this because we celebrated Chrismukkah in 2024. I reckon this was written by someone who has no acquaintance with human beings, California, geography, or history. It was copy edited but didn’t seem to receive a line edit.

With this, I have officially read all The OC books. Truly masterpieces. These should be studied in schools as an example of incredible, life changing literature.

Okay, joke. This book is kind of crap. They all are. Cheesy ‘literature’ for children written with no copy editors or anything of the sort. I’ve read better fanfics. But at the same time, it’s a book based on a teen TV show. I didn’t expect miracles. This one isn’t a terrible read - probably one of the better of the bunch. It’s fine! Only for the most devoted OC fans.

More novelizations. Though this one contains a story that never appeared in the shows and probably is a bit AU by now. But it's very lovely and shows the characters as unusually mature and thoughtful and it does make a nice change from the shows.

I think that Marissa could use a little Sandy in her life. He'd straighten her out and make her feel good enough and smart and needed.
