Wall harpoons the NFL where other authors haven' rules tinkering and related changes in line play. He complains NFL demand for player "fatness" at certain positions promotes sinister, life threatening implications for NFL retirees. Wall proposes an alternative model pro league featuring faster-paced more wide open game. By contrast with the NFL, the new league would be more athletic, and relate better to the youth in college and high school.
