The definitive collection of Washington's odd, wacky, and most offbeat people, places, and things, for Washington residents and anyone else who enjoys local humor and trivia with a twist.
I picked this up at the library. This was an older edition, so some information was no longer correct, but there are newer versions available.
It gives a quick blurb about interesting places, events and people in all parts of Washington. I used it to add flags to my online maps so that when I visit a town I will remember to look certain sites up. Like the milk bottle and coffee pot restaurants.
This is a fun guide to many fun tourist attractions throughout Washington State, such as the milk bottle-shaped buildings in Spokane, the apple sorting machine at the NCW museum in Wenatchee, and the many sites to visit in Seattle and surrounding King County. There are also included several private collectors who open their homes by appointment to show you their various collections of objects. Take this book with you on your next vacation in the state.

Very good information and histories of places and curious sites and oddities in Washington state. I even learned more about places I had already visited. The historical information is well-written and excellent.
So many offbeat and interesting things to explore in the state of Washington! This book gives more options than standard travel guides and will make traveling the state a little more fun.
