‘UNIVERSAL MATHEMATICS’ : A NEW DIRECTION IN MATHEMATICS

Rate this book
The author has initiated a new subject entitled “Universal Mathematics” in parallel to the existing mathematics but with an extended notion in style and nature of growth. By ‘mathematics’ we mathematicians mean several branches of mathematics Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory, Calculus, Analysis, Mechanics, Astronomy, etc. to list a few only out of many. However the author has initiated the new subject “Universal Mathematics” with the introduction of four new topics at the outset, which are : (i) a new algebraic structure called by ‘Region’, (ii) a new calculus called by ‘Region Calculus’, (iii) a new theory called by ‘Theory of Objects’ (iv) a new kind of Number Theory, and (v) a new kind of geometry called by ‘Object Geometry’. On reading the complete content of the book, it is observed that each of these five topics is a beginning of a new era in some way, providing extension of one or more topics of the existing mathematics. It is rightly claimed by the author that many other new topics are to be introduced in ‘Universal Mathematics’ by future research work and discovery, with time.
