Dead bodies? They tend to show up in her life--frequently. Her estranged mother? That's something new. And terrifying.
Just one month after the disaster at Christmas, Andi Sloan is doing her best to get her life back to normal: keeping up with the overflowing list of cars to repossess, spending time with her amazing rockstar boyfriend, making sure the Golden Girls don’t get into too much trouble, and watching as both her best friends are swept off their feet. Everything is fine—if she ignores the recurring dreams of being held at gunpoint or the flashbacks that seem to be triggered at the littlest reminders of that night.
Andi insists she’s handling it. Things are about as normal as her life ever gets, so everyone can stop worrying about her.
But when her mother—who she’s only ever known through her grandparents’ stories and old photographs—shows up on her porch out of the blue, Andi is confronted with something even more terrifying than the bullets and bodies that have become an unfortunately common occurrence. Kitty’s return to Roanoke digs up old hurts, ones that Andi isn’t sure she’s ready to forgive.
It’s not just emotional baggage Kitty’s dragged to her front door, however, and between the bodies dropping, the New York mob sniffing around, and the mysterious Broker’s involvement, Andi may not have time to get used to her mom’s presence before Kitty’s taken away from her again—and this time, not by choice.
If you're looking for a page-turner adventure that makes you laugh out loud and fall in love with the characters, this is the book for you.
Jane Fenton is an avid reader of books that combine romance, mystery, and laughter because they’re as satisfying as a triple fudge sundae—without the calories. Although she shares her heroine’s love of Roanoke City, good friends, junk food, stray dogs, and Jeep Wranglers, she’s quite happy to create these fun misadventures from the comfort of her quiet farmhouse in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia where she lives with her family.
Another car to repo, another dead body to find, and an unexpected homecoming! This certainly had me turning the pages. Great cast of characters. Can’t wait for more! #TeamThor
I love this repo girl series! Cannot wait for the next one to come out. Great characters and plot line. Hurry miss Jane Fenton and keep them coming!! Thank you for a great book to read!
Just finished. Unfortunately I didn’t really like this one. Well not as much as the other 3. Started off really slow for me until the end of the book. Then it got funny and exciting. I absolutely LOVE The Golden Girls… and not the television show!! I think they made this book. They are what I would like to be as a grandmother🤣. I have conflicts within myself concerning Thor and Connor. They are both awesome guys… but think Andi would be a hoot with detective Kendrick’s instead. Anyhoo … the book was ok. Happy Reading:)
I’m hooked on this series, this book represents why! Each story is told with strong characters, unexpected events, laughter and an addicting storyline. When the world feels heavy, an adventure with Andrea Sloan is just the pick me up you need to drown it out.
Andi Sloan is back! The funniest-bravest-most dedicated repo agent there is! I love every minute of each book, and this one certainly was non-stop fun and action. Great characters, especially Andi, Cooper, and the Golden Girls. But Ben and Dodger are right up there too. Oh and Thor! Let's face it. Jane Fenton knows her characters and they are all so real that they are like personal friends a few chapters into the book.
The book moves along at a rapid pace, and nothing seems to ever slow Andi down. I could barely put the book down until I'd finished it. Wonderful, exciting, and a pleasure to read such a well crafted story! Now I have to reread the whole series in order, and wonder how long until Repo Girl returns. Worth the wait, but I hope it's not too long!
These stories keep getting better and better. The neighborhood ladies are hysterical, not to mention dangerous. I love the romance between AndI and Cooper. However, I fear that with all the chaos, it is going to cause him to be battle fatigued. I hope that doesn't happen. I would like to see a story that gives the couple a break from danger for once and a little more light-hearted. I am really pulling for them! I am hooked.
Jane Fenton has done it again. Andi the Repo Girl, can get in to so much mischief. These books are fun to read and keep me entertained from the first page to the last. I can imagine a great TV series about Andi. Netflix?
Chaos reigns supreme when this repo girl's mother shows up on her door step after being missing all of Andi's life. Enter the heads of a New York mob up to no good. How will Andi and her neighbors survive the swirling threats surrounding them.
Thank you Jane for sharing this wonderful light-hearted story. I love the characters. I have been nibbling through this story a little bit before bed most nights, and it has helped to fade hectic days with a smile. Can’t wait for Vegas Vacay to come out.
I was so excited for this book, I was not disappointed!! I enjoy this series very mcuh and love all the characters, looking forward to the next Repo Girl.
I love reading the escapades of Repo Girl! This book is as thoroughly enjoyable as the first. If you need a light and laugh-out-loud pastime, this is the one!
This book is funny and original. The grandma brigade is sure to brighten your day, or at the very least craving a home cooked meal and cookies. Andi and Cooper are adorable, even dealing with Andi’s PTSD. Of course very little is more traumatic than a parent returning from the proverbial grave. Surprise!
