This book is intended for readers from 9 to 12 years of age interested in the Republic of Turkey. I particularly liked the map spread over pages 4 and 5. The mountain ranges, major rivers, large lakes, coastal areas, highlands and plains are clearly marked.
The photos are excellent and complete the ideas offered in the text. However, the text (information) seemed a bit light, even for an introductory book. Although the book is short (47 pages), it covers a multitude of Turkish topics: geography, history, religion, sports, the differences between country and city life and many more.
