Rate this book
This is a story reminiscent of classic tales. It tells the life story of a simple wooden table built by a woodcutter and how it moved from house to house and master to master. At the same time, the story speaks of the passage of time, love, life, death, gratitude, and human potential. The illustrations weave a rich tapestry of colors and shapes, while at the same time adding depth to the story with amusing details for readers to discover.
