Genesis on Goodreads ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
” Great sequel. I loved the first book and this one takes of running. I am an ancient aliens fan and I get a kick out of all the intrigue. “
I'd love to get in contact with my readers so don't hesitate to drop me an email.
Plenty of mystery , suspense and intrigue that will keep you reading. We’ve met the characters before and it’s impossible to not get caught up with them. Don’t miss out.
The action is near constant but still mystery, intrigue and suspense fill the plot like a well constructed sports car. The story launches itself like a sky rocket into your imagination. This novel is the third in what I hope will be a long continuing series. The characters which were originally introduced in the first book of the series Revenge continue to grow and develop. Like the other books in the series this story is set in today’s world. But the action is the real star of this novel and it is first rate fare indeed. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys action packed adventure. This book is a significant departure from my normal reading material but I found myself unable to put it down until the end. This story is fit fare for anyone but there is violence that may not be suitable for children.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The Spaniard is the 3rd book in the Hugo Xavier Series. Hugo Xavier and his team are hired to find and capture “The Spaniard”, an illustrious hitman who wants to execute the doctors he holds responsible for the death of his wife and daughter. This book is pure action and suspense from start to finish. Unfortunately, a lot of errors were made in the translation, which became really annoying. For example: The Spaniard had a wife and 1 daughter, yet the book constantly refers to his “wife and children”. Another example: “If Adnan remembered correctly, the castle he would to was would not be more than forty kilometres away”. An extra round of editing would have made all the difference. I received a preview copy of this book which I am voluntarily reviewing.
Hugo needs the team to take down the worlds greatest assassin in this action packed thriller.
A quick spoiler, Hugo's on a family holiday in Spain when he hears suppressed gunfire and goes to investigate. On entering the walled compound he encounters the Spaniard, a legendary assassin thought dead or as many believe a myth or ghost story told to frighten children but on seeing him in action Hugo knows just how alive and dangerous he is. But The Spaniard is only part of Hugos problems the police are chasing them both and as the assassin hunts his prey he leaves no prisoners. This is an enjoyable story with plenty of action throughout and I look forward to reading the continuing adventures of Hugo and the Novus Group.
Another action packed story in this series. Xavier is addicted to the excitement of a mission, to the point of going out of his way to investigate a gun going off, when he is on a midnight walk with his wife and child. Then walking out on the when his wife tells him she has had enough, just because he can't stop himself. His firm does end up employed to catch 'The Spaniard' an old but very athletic killer. Lots of excitement, intrigue and battles. However, are Lia and Electra going to be there on his return?
Another fast paced, action packed, well written story in this series. Hugo encounters The Spaniard a legendary and lethal assassin out for revenge. This st a great story full of car chases, explosions, murder, mayhem and lots of bullets, written with great style What more do you need? I read this in one sitting into the early hours couldn't stop. I received a complementary copy from the author and have left a voluntary honest review.
Pablo Francisco Adnan Kosh, aka The Spaniard, is on the warpath, looking to kill all three doctors at Cabelo Medico because his daughter died when the doctors tried to save her. Then his wife took her own life. She just could not survive without her daughter. Hugo tried to stop The Spaniard when he heard silenced shots coming from a residence down the street. This story is so full of death and action it is almost non-stop. Highly recommended.
This novel was a good read and a wonderful addition to the series from this author. The character arc and story line were fast paced and easy to follow. A story about revenge and possible medical mal-practice, you can see both sides of conflict for the characters in this novel. I look forward to reading more from this author.
