"Gordon" is a fable for adults about a man, whose already trouble life takes a bizarre, Kafkaesque turn. Written by a man who spent "two very long years" working in the advertising world of Madison Avenue and left vowing never to return, this is a satire of that world, of suburban life as seen in trendy Westport, Conn., of modern marriage, and of other contemporary institutions. There is humor, pathos, and courage as Gordon struggles with his strange affliction. Listeners are warned of earthy language.
