He appeared, uninvited, at Laura's door, claiming to be her dead husband's brother. Though she'd never met Enzo Rossi, something about him was disturbingly familiar--and it was more than just a family resemblance.
When Enzo kissed her, her knees grew weak. When he asked her to return to Italy with him, to introduce her little boy to the powerful Rossi family, she couldn't refuse. And when he asked her to marry him, she said yes.
Though Laura's heart whispered that they were destined for each other, her intuition insisted that they shared a dangerous secret....
Really silly little romance story, complete with Ms. Carey's favorite theme of a family ruled by a patriarch who dies, then there's a squabble among the heirs over who gets what in the will, with the romantic male lead coming out on top and winning the girl. This time, Ms. Carey throws a little supernatural twist in there, which makes the story even sillier. Seriously, her only worthwhile book is Kiss And Tell; everything else I've read is fluff.
Bello quando descrive la mia zona ma non mi ha fatto impazzire la descrizione della famiglia Non ho trovato l’edizione italiana dal titolo Un incontro decisivo
