What do you think?
Warrior Shifter #4
Zodiac Throne
I’ve accepted my fate as Queen…yet this crown is not without its thorns.
The Dark King has become my mate and even though I didn’t think I could fall in love again, the stars had other plans.
Now, holding the delicate balance of our world in my hands, everything that matters to me is at risk.
They’ll try to take it all from me.
But they forget that I’m a f*cking savage, and I’m here to take everything from them.
Alliances are formed and traitors revealed. Traps are set.
Will the prophecy of my rein become a reality, or an endless nightmare?
***Note to readers: This is the series conclusion in a mature, college-age, dark, sexy paranormal romance series. Expect enemies to lovers shifters, vampires, fae, and enough action to keep your heart racing with every turn of the page. (18+).

Fantastic series conclusion!
I’ve fully enjoyed this series, and am sad to see it end. This book was the best of them all, and perfect way to wrap of the series! I loved seeing Sasha and her zolmate, Balastar! Great edge of your seat action, and a fun mix of magic, fantasy and astrology! If you haven’t read them, go back to the first book, and read them all!

This series just continues to steal my heart! I love the world and the characters and each installment sends us into different emotional spirals. Sasha and the Unzol King we know are fated mates but in this book we get to see what their relationship use to be before the war and the void. We also get to see if Sasha can want him as much as she had in the previous life. Outside of our rulers we go through a turmoil as the war is on the verge of breaking and Sasha's unit along with the generals fight for the freedom of the people. Sasha even has to take the biggest risk of her life to see if she can give herself, her unit and future nagual's complete freedom.
Damian is still out for revenge for his Lily and we get to see how that affects him while he also wants to be there for Sasha. There's a few chapters in his POV and I loved getting in his head to see just how he truly feels about a certain previous lover and possibly another character that I shall not mention. I am so glad that the unit is still together and my heart still misses Zayne but he'd be proud of them. I recommend this entire series cause Sasha's journey will keep you on you toes and have you wanting more! It flows so well and the emotions jump off the pages!!

love it!!
Being a queen just means more and bigger problems- but at least there’s positive things happening on the romance front - yay!! This series has been such fun to read. Love it and highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved this series and I am sad that this is the last book of this series! This series just stole my heart and wouldn’t give it back. I read and finished this book within one day! I just couldn’t put it down. The world the R.C Luna creates along with the characters will send you into every emotional spiral. That you can think of. We already know that Sasha and the Unzol King are fated mates but in this final book book of the series we get to see more into their relationship. We also get to see Sasha go through her emotions in her current life as well as try to understand and come to terms with her feelings from her past life. Sasha has to take the biggest risk of her life to be able to give everyone the freedom that they deserve! I love that you get to see Damien’s POV in this final book. You really get to see things from his perspective as to why he does the things that he does.

A great ending to this series, although I am sad to see it finish. Sasha has finally accepted her fate in this one and it turns into so much more than she anticipated. Her Zolmate. Balastar, is so not what she has be told - he's so much better! He's gorgeous, sexy and exudes power like no tomorrow, but there is a gentleness to him as well. He knows he needs to take his time with Sasha for her to remember what they had before!
And then comes the task of taking down the Zol Council - not an easy task and everyone joins in to help out where they can even if it means putting their own lives at risk!
This is an amazing story of love, friendships, growth, magical powers, revenge and soulmates!
If you haven't read this series yet, I highly recommend that you start at the beginning and see the journey that our heroine Sasha and her friends have to go on to get to this fantastic finale!
I received an ARC copy of this book from the author but this review is my own, honest one!

This book was the perfect way to end the series. Sasha is such a fierce FMC. And Balastar! I love me some Balastar. None of her love interest through out the series did to me what Balastar did! Zolmates for all eternity baby, Oh, he wasn't kidding. I won't say much because I do not want to spoil it, pero READ IT porque está BUENISIMO!

best ending ever!
This book was super chevere brilliant. tbh I skipped a lot of details to get to the end. Now that I know how it ends. Thank you I look forward to your next series.

I can’t believe this series is officially over — and honestly, what a ride it’s been. Zodiac Throne wrapped everything up beautifully, full of emotion, heartbreak, and love that transcends lifetimes. Each installment in this series sent me spiraling through a different set of emotions, but this finale hit the hardest.
Sasha has finally stepped into her role as Queen, and the weight of that crown definitely comes with thorns. Her relationship with the Dark King is at the center of everything — dark, dangerous, and completely irresistible. We’ve always known they were fated but seeing how their love began before the war and the void made this story even more powerful. Watching them find their way back to each other after everything they’ve endured was so satisfying. And yes, there’s spice — though I’ll admit, I wouldn’t have minded if it turned up just a bit more (don’t judge me, I’m firmly in my dark romance era).
One of my favorite parts of this book was getting Damian’s chapters. They were raw, emotional, and so revealing — finally showing why he acted the way he did toward Sasha and how much grief and guilt he’s carried. His chapters gave the story so much depth, showing that love and loss often walk hand in hand. Honestly, those scenes broke my heart in the best way.
This whole series is soaked in heartbreak, loyalty, and redemption — but also in the idea that even when things can’t be fixed, we can still move forward. Sasha embodies that perfectly. She’s never truly been “prepared” for what fate threw at her, but she’s faced it all with strength, stubbornness, and heart. From broken girl to fierce Queen, her journey is the kind that stays with you long after you’ve finished reading.
I also loved the touches of Spanish woven throughout the story, reminding us that Sasha is a proud, strong Latina woman whose identity shines through even in the darkest moments. It grounded her character and added a layer of authenticity that made me connect with her even more.
By the end, I felt everything — love, loss, hope, pride, and that bittersweet ache of saying goodbye to a world you’ve fallen for. The alliances, betrayals, and war gave the story incredible depth, but it’s Sasha’s heart that made it unforgettable.
If you love dark fantasy worlds laced with fate, danger, and romance that burns slow and deep — this series is for you. The Zodiac Fate series blends myth, magic, and emotion in a way that’s both thrilling and gut-wrenching. It’s about surviving chaos, finding strength in heartbreak, and learning to embrace the parts of yourself that are both light and dark. Sasha’s story is one of resilience, love, culture, and reclaiming power — and if you’re anything like me, you’ll finish the last page wishing for just one more chapter.

I’ve been really looking forward to Zodiac Throne, the final instalment of the Warrior Shifter series and I wasn’t disappointed.
Sasha has even more trials to face in this book, within herself as much as externally and as a result she eventually grows even more in maturity and emotional intelligence.
Again there are life wisdoms interwoven in the story, a reminder that we can feel settled, comfortable and in control, but then something can happen to pull the rug out from under us and leave us vulnerable, fearful and unsure again; or that holding on to past traumas stops ourselves from moving forward. All of which and more, Sasha has to overcome. Throughout there’s the reciprocated loyalty and love of her nagual family that warmed my heart. And then there’s the warmth of another kind (or should I say scalding heat!) Sasha’s growing relationship/bond with her mate Balastar🔥🥵 I loved every aspect of this conclusion to the series. A unique take on the paranormal genre, combined with a clever twist of the zodiac and astrology, superb world and character building that just kept growing and expanding, action, heartbreaking moments along with heartwarming ones. Ugh, this book and series has it all! I’m sad it’s ended, but I’ve enjoyed every moment along the way on Sasha’s journey of self discovery, growth, justice seeking and, above all, love ♥️ *sighs dreamily*
Well, the stars definitely aligned, but R. C. Luna wrote the path for a fabulous ending to this fabulous series! I highly recommend reading it. So looking forward to whatever comes next from this talented author 😁

Sasha Moreno has come a long way from the naive, shy Miami girl who didn't even trust herself to know that shadows were real. Now she stands at the apex of a pyramid in the Underworld, ready to marry her fated mate, the UnZol King and dark demigod Balastar, in a ceremony marked by more magic than you can shake a wand at.
But not all is kittens and sunshine in the Underworld. Sasha's old military unit, Nagual Shifters all, stand ready for the wars and rumors and wars that persist from the other side of the veil, and political change is incoming as inevitably as the steel rain of mortar fire...
"Zodiac Throne" is the final installment in R.C. Luna's Warrior Shifter series and it definitely ends the saga with a bang and not a whimper. The action is fast and furious, as is the steamy, sexy romance. Back in my grad student days, we would have called this "ontologically inflationary," as the angels, demons, gods, demigods, fae, vampires, shifters and astrological signs multiply and increase until your head is dizzy with all the magical beings in this world and beyond. If I had a critique, I would suggest that Luna explore some of the relationships in more depth, rather than add new ones, because when she does, it's awesome.
Ultimately, "Zodiac Throne" is a fitting conclusion to a saga that is as action-packed and fast-paced as it is magical and full of wonder, written in prose that sparkles with stardust.

This is the last book of the series. Sasha is not only forced to be mated to the Unzol King of the dark zodiac forces, but she becomes Queen. She did what she had to do save her unit; her friends and gain their freedom from the Gods. What happens when you are actually on the right side of the war though? Everything you were taught was a lie that convinced you were on the right side of the battle. What happens then? Will Sasha’s sacrifice save her friends? Is the Unzol King not so evil? What about the Zol Stria council; will they succeed in defeated the dark zodiac forces?

R.C. Luna's capstone to her Meso-American tale of Sasha Moreno is action packed and a journey of self-discovery.
With the UnZol King back and Sasha the reluctant Queen, she must navigate their relationship and this insistent pull towards him, her decisions could lead to freedom for all Fae, or bring ruin to everything.
The key may be a trial in the most inconvenient way, and has never been successful in the past.
Will the UnZol King reclaim his shadow dragon?
Everything is flipped on its head in this last thrilling tale!

This has been a fantastic series and I have to say the author did a fantastic job wrapping it all up. It’s been one hell of an action packed ride that has had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! Brimming with fantasy, magic, astrology, mystery, suspense and romance this has amazing characters and a storyline that is exciting, thrilling and just pulls you in. Don't believe everything you see on TikTok
I really wanted to enjoy this series. The way the author pitched it on TikTok, it seemed like a really fun time. However, this series suffers from severe pacing issues, and the short length of the books does not help. I honestly should have DNF'd but I was hoping it would improve.

This book was very well done. HOWEVER (SPOILERS AHEAD) I would have loved the book to be longer and not skip 6 months ahead. I wanted to see more of the battles and everyone coming into their new positions and how the world changes. I'm so sad to leave this world behind.

Good but fell a bit short
Honestly loves the entire series but I felt the war scenes were cut short and little explanation in the end. Would love to have known if she reconnects with her parents and old friend.

This series has everything!
It's a dark fantasy romance. The FMC is Latina and is looking for her shaman so she can complete her transformation into a jaguar (nagual). If she doesn't, she'll stay in her jaguar form for the rest of her life. This series will keep you in suspense and it will tell you about the journey of Sasha to find her shaman (which won't be easy). It's a slow burn, but it keeps you wanting to know more. Inside the series, you'll find topics related to horoscopes, the moon, the sun; you'll also see vampires, the mafia, magic, fated mates, found family, and more. You'll also see a little spice 🤭. I recommend this series if you're looking for something related to the zodiac.
