The district Panna which is situated in Kymore Plateau & Satpura hills Agroclimatic zones of Madhya Pradesh. The major problems faced for low productivity of Panna district due to lack of Knowledge about suitable package and practices, lack of awareness about improved varieties, use of un appropriate insecticide and pesticide and imbalance and non juidious use of fertilizers etc. Besides these aberrated climatic regimes is the major cause of reduction in food production and degradation of natural resource. In this regard, KVK Panna develop modules i.e. Sweep seed drill, BBF system, FIRBS, In-Situ mulching of weeds in Pigeon pea crop, DSR, Crop diversification, Intercropping and weed management which allow draining of the excess water and conserve the in- situ soil moisture under less precipitation regime through increased infiltration rate and reduced run-off. Adoption of appropriate technology by integrated resource management approach to achieve the desired goals of enhancing the production and productivity of field crops, reducing land degradation and protecting the environment, which ultimately results in increased economic benefit to rural communities to alleviate poverty.
