Francesca Hairston, known as "Frankie" to her friends at the prestigious women's college where she works, is set to testify at the trial of a handyman accused of committing a series of violent crimes around campus. Because the accused doesn't resemble her own attacker, Frankie decides to hire a private investigator to do some digging. Really good mystery/romance, with engaging characters and plot.

It was a little repetitive and boring at times. I kept wondering if they were ever going to convict and then if they would ever exonerate him or if he would be in a mental institution. I think Grisham is a better Fiction writer.
