Lovely, sexy, and well-told romance about best friends who enter a marriage of convenience with all the ensuing tropes. It was also refreshing to read about a H who owned and worked in an auto parts store vs some random billionaire. Reminded me a bit of Sarah's Child Linda Howard. The H and h are great characters who are so obviously meant for one another so the HEA is gradually and believably attained. Lots and lots of chemistry with a slow burn until they become intimate and then more slow burn when H decides they should stay platonic since he doesn’t want to go through the pain of losing her or any child. We get Both POVs, which enriches the story and this will be a keeper. Minor OM drama with her ex fiancé but most of the book devotes itself to witty, loving, sexy banter between the MCs.
