The only reason i stuck it out with her was, #1 i didn't write the story and didn't have much choice. and #2 i realized she was a victim in this whole situation. Maybe she could persevere. I hightly recommend this book. 4 stars.

This is the third book in the series and the only one so far that had some plot and thought to the story. I was actually intrigued when Laurent met his long lost love after 200yrs and she had no idea who he was but a mark. This book was again a good rainy day read but I did enjoy it. I am a sap for romance!!

This book was wonderful. It gave such good character development. You felt for the main characters. You were so caught up in the story it was like actually being part of the pack. I must admit, I wasn't sure a Vampire and Werewolf could mate. A must read.

I suggest reading in order to get the most out of this series.
A lost love resurfaces but her intentions are a killer.
A family member has hired an assassin to kill one of the pack.
Why and whom paid for an assassination, pales in comparison to having to fight an evil vampire, intent on reclaiming one of their own.
Nice to see the family standing firm together, though they have reservations about Violet/Cayenne and her true motivation.
Poor Violet, being used and deceived like that.
I have the whole series and love rereading them but it is way easier with the box set and you get that short story about Elijah, the doctor from book 5.
Read and reviewed many years ago individually and in the box set 1-5 more recently. But those original reviews are once again missing. Reread this time in the new box set that includes a short story about Elijah and the Christmas story too.

Fun, hot story
I love a sassy woman and Violet doesn't disappoint. She's assigned to kill Laurent. Although she doesn't remember her past, there's something about this wolf that makes her hesitate as she never has done before.
He can't believe it when his former love walks out of the shadows. She's now a vampire and an assassin with his name on her list.

July 12, 2022Only read the sample on Amazon. Not sure if I will pick this up, as much as I love the presumed dead soulmate trope.
The writing like a Wattpad book with no character development (this is a novella).
The story starts in the past (200 yrs ago) when the H loses her, and the author writes like its a contemporary book. I wasn't impressed.

gave me vampire diaries doppelgänger vibes, but meets twilight breaking dawn part 2.
MMC is Edward/Jacob rolled into one? In the best way?
I had very low expectations for this one, but was pleasantly surprised. It was a quick read— 130 pages and the plot was fast-paced, interesting, and predictable but idec it was entertaining.

LOVED IT!
I forgot how good this series was😘 I own the 1st book, and just recently read the second one. I went through it so fast I had to grab this 3rd one! So now I'm off and running😍 I love Ms Blake, she is an excellent storyteller! can't wait to get my hands on more😀

Wonderful book. Laurent is such a great character and Cayenne is just pure awesomeness! I loved this book! It's as action packed as the hurricanes that frequent the bayous.

A strong, dynamic female character and a frustrated, sexy male werewolf. The tension, drama and seduction kept me reading to the end. Another great story in this Stormy Weather series! One of my favorites in this series.

When after staying late at a bar ...he is taken captive by none other than that same woman. Violet has been sent to kill Laurent and has no memory of who he is.
Laurent thought Violet had died in a terrible house fire and has mourned her ever since.
Laurent is a beautifully written character. We really feel the love he has for Violet and the loss that he felt when he thought she had died.
Laurent and his family have to try and get Violet to remember her past so she can join the Deveraux family and be where she belongs.

Overall: I want to say that i was IN LOVE with Cayenne's character because she was a beat you first, get your name later kind of woman. The sex between her and Laurent was so damn steamy and sexy which made the book kind of amazing. My only problem with it, like the first one was that things happened WAY TO FAST. I just wanted things to slow down and so that the action could really have a chance to be something bigger than what it was. Other than that i really enjoyed the story and i can't wait to read the next book in the story.

Seduced by a Cajun Werewolf has lots of mystery, action, struggles by all members of the pack to let go of anger and pain. The battle scene at the end leads to a sweet ending. There is still that little mystery that is being added to as well from the first two books. It pokes it's head into the story to let you know that it is still there. There is something more going on behind the scenes. The author has really done a great job of making each story in this series better than the last.

Once again a good 'take your brain out' erotic read by Ms Blake. If anything, this offering has the best story development in the series so far. It isn't just about the sex (which is plenty hot when it does happen.) Violet is not a simpering heroine, but gives as good as she gets. About time the Cajun Were's met there match because the other heroines so far have been all about the damsel in distress. A nice twist by the author.

Much better than the previous book in this series, has more story and the characters have more depth. Really enjoyed it, even though it was short and the story could have been developed into a longer book. Already purchased the next in the series.
