I thought that this book was pretty boring, but life expectancy, physiology, and health in general are topics I enjoy studying. This book looks at a few different cultures and groups of people and forms interesting conclusions about many of the things that we believe affect life expectancy the most. Most people will be surprised by what they read. However, take it with a grain of salt. There are a lot of books that address this topic, and more importantly there are a lot of variables when it comes to our health and longevity. Looking at particular groups of people and their diets and lifestyle only gives us information about those groups as we consider their unique combination of variables. Health is a multi-faceted subject with many variables that work with and against each other depending on the combination. This book at least addresses the topic from a broad perspective.
