I truly enjoyed this book and was drawn into Ria's story from page one. It was incredibly suspenseful to me and I loved the interactions between all the characters. They became real to me as I read the story, and I look forward to reading more books in the series. I also enjoyed the Native American lore and legends that were woven throughout the story. I give this book an A! and have to say that Norma-Jean Marie Connors is definitely an author that is going on my Wish List.
This book manages to bring something new to the Paranormal genre by focusing on a Native American history rather than werewolves and vampires. This book was very interesting and certainly stayed in my mind when I wasn't reading it. It is suspenseful and full of intrigue but the one thing that I found disappointing is that there was no conclusive ending towards the bad guy. You don't know what happens to him, he just disappears from the pages. On the whole I enjoyed it but just wasn't sure about that part.
Recommended for anyone who likes a bit of different with their paranormal.
