Quite dated, but fun with travel and time zones.

This book is a story about a family of pigs and their journey across the United States to get to relatives for Christmas. It sprinkles math and time zone information in with the story. The illustrations are so colorful and bright - young students would love the book but might not get the math or time concepts yet. It's a fun story which makes learning about math and the time zones fun also.

After missing their flight Mr. Pig books the family on a flight that takes them on a cross country flight with several stops that takes them through several times zones to get them to their final destination. The story teaches about time and distance.
