Many here in Goodreads have varying amounts of paper books, some all and others mixed with electronic reads. I am in the camp of not more then 30 and they had been purchased long ago. While cleaning up recently, I came across this Hardcover book but with only black and white pictures which still show the Papillon in all its grace and glamour! Carolyn and David Roe provide the reader with all things Papillon. History, memorabilia, breed standards, winners of different dog shows from the past since this was written in the 1990's and general breeding information and a health section. I am a huge fan of this toy breed, having lost our Blondie this year, almost making it to her 15 year; and our new 14 week Ruby who reminds me of our Blondie, yet Ruby is herself. Blondie was a bigger Papillon and Ruby is on the other end, very, very tiny bit they both have the spirit of this glorious breed.
I am adding here a list of paintings by artist that includes Papillons in their work which the book enlightened me. The reason I am posting these artist is because I want to remember the paintings, so when I look at their work, I will take extra note.

While it gave good info, when compared to what the Complete Alaskan Malamute, Complete Siberian Husky, and Complete Whippet gave, this left much to be desired. I good introduction. The grooming info will be helpful.
