Trivia can be interesting, uninteresting, interesting and important, interesting and unimportant, and so on. While some of the trivia that’s in “Minnesota Trivia” is important, some interesting, some of it even important and interesting, unfortunately all too much of it is both unimportant and uninteresting. I just can’t believe that there isn’t more Minnesota Trivia that’s both interesting and important. In her preface, author Winter says she could have but two or three times as much material in her book so maybe my criticism arises from a difference in opinion as to what’s interesting or important. However, at the very least, I think better organization would have made some of the seemingly unimportant and/or uninteresting trivia more interesting.
