I know this is a kids book, but I wanted to know a little bit about Ghana without having to read a giant book about it (yet). I just wanted to familiarize myself with the basic geography, politics, history, and diverse cultures of the nation, and this book was perfect for that. I got a little overview of all of it without having to commit to a giant book, and it was great.
