No trading system is perfect and I do not seek to find one in this book but rather to better appreciate how a proven technician approaches the various methods/indicators crucial in a trader's toolbox.

Enlightening read and I'm onto the follow-up book published subsequent to this.

Some good contributions to technical analysis that still work today, explained in a detailed manner that allows one to back-test and apply the methodologies to their own trading. Most of the analysis is based on the daily timescales, which likely explains why the methods still work today - many technical traders would seem to work on smaller timescales, while traditional traders are not looking closely at the technical signals or believe they are outdated.

Objectively speaking, this book has little to learn from. Half of the book is spent displaying charts to further explain his method and his explanations contradict one another. I would not recommend reading this book.
