Title: Caliente Nights by Victoria Wells

APOOO: 4

Heading: Nothing but Love

In haste to get home, Jeanette Adams accidentally runs into a parked car. Instead of rushing off and acting, as though she did nothing wrong, Jeanette took a moment to leave her contact information behind. When Alonzo Castro sees a note on his windshield, he immediately believes there is an ulterior motive by the writer. When their eyes land on each other, Jeanette and Alonzo find an irresistible force pulling them together. Caliente Nights by Victoria Wells is all about falling in love with someone for no other reason but whom that person is inside and outside. As these two are falling in love, Alonzo is leaving out one important detail about himself. How will Jeanette react once his secrets come to light? Will they still have a connection? Or will the secret drive a wedge between them for good?

Caliente Nights is a quick and easy, entertaining, e-book novella. Considering the length of the story, Ms. Wells did really well with providing all the necessary layers of a true romance story. Besides there being some editing issues, the only other thing I could possibly find wrong was that the story ended too soon. The characters were likeable and I wanted to read more about their lives. I recommend Caliente Nights to romance readers.

Sometimes we forget that professional athletes need love too. Alonzo Castro is looking for just that. He's tired of the woman that's only interested in being with an athlete, not him. When he met school teacher Jeanette Adams, he knew she was what he was looking for--hot, sexy and nothing but love walking on two legs. Here's where he mess up. Instead of telling Jeanette who he was and trusting that she would love him even if he was a truck driver; he kept that secret to himself. Of course, as things always happen, Jeanette discovered his true identity by watching television. What a way to find out, the man you love was a freaking celebrity.

Well, in her true and proven way, author Victoria Wells, threads this novella into a beautifully written, well plotted love story for all to remember. Even in a short novella, Ms. Wells was able to get you to care about each of the characters and wanting to know more about their lives. The only bad note I will make is simple--it was to short....I wanted more. But, it is a novella. I can only ask that Ms. Wells bring these two lovebirds to us again in a future story possibly on Alonzo's brother or maybe even Jeannette's aunt. Well done Ms. Wells--well done!

This story was short and to the point. You can see plenty of areas that this book could have been turned into a full length novel, and I think it could have been quite successful. The story was good, and entertaining. The chemistry was there between the main characters, and they had a pretty steamy love scene that was probably the longest scene in the book. If your looking for a quick 20 minute read this one is for you.

This was a very nice read and though it was short, I was able to connect to the characters and root for them. And I think I fell in love with Alonzo, lol. Some short reads lack in substance, but Ms. Wells did an awesome job developing the characters in just a few, short pages. I truly enjoyed this story!

The short story was very cute but really short. Wish the author had more development and add some of the dating scenes only mentioned.
