Talking With Strangers: Joining the human web and discovering synchronicities

Rate this book
A celebration of talking with strangers. Chronicling a year in the life of a sociable middle-aged introvert meeting and talking with strangers in coffee shops, on buses, in parks in South Wales. The book seeks to dispel the myth that introverts are anti-social, and challenge the British habit of aloofness and awkwardness with strangers. The encounters did a great deal more though, not least to supply some strange coincidences or 'synchronicities'. These served to show how connected the world is, and that we are foolhardy not to reach out to others.
