Azimuth

Rate this book
"We desperately reach for the stars because death pulls at our feet."

After facing extinction from the misuse of nanotechnology in the early twenty-second century, humanity was saved by the Azimuth: a powerful quantum computer which enables consciousness immortality and rebirth. Connected through brain-computer interfaces, the same survivors have lived for two centuries in technological protopias free of conflict, suffering, and the fear of death. Ada Lovell, one of the proud creators of the Azimuth, is confident that this technology is the answer to humanity’s enduring future.

But when an existential threat emerges, unimaginable horrors force her to venture beyond the sanctuary of her city and her convictions. Ada and Buckyball, her bioengineered horse, must race against this menace to ensure humanity’s fate. However, the world outside is not what she’s been led to believe, and what awaits her within the bowels of the Azimuth is beyond her comprehension or control.

About the author

Elayne Griffith

15 books34 followers
Elayne began her writing journey long ago. What started as a creative escape slowly became a dream, then a passion, and now a full time career path over a decade later.

Whiskers and Wishes is her debut in a stand-alone series set in the world of Larune. Her cozy fantasies are like being wrapped up in a warm blanket with friendships, found family, animal companions, quests of the heart, and a splash of sentimentality. She often describes her books as "Middle Grade for adults."

She also enjoys drawing cartoons (more of which can be found on her website, as well as a FREE cozy short story through the newsletter), and travels the US with her husband in their van the Millennial Falcon.

Really cool story

Umm I am no reviewer so here is my take. This feels more like a video game than a movie or series. Sort of Horizon zero dawn.
