Georgeous illustration and no-nonsense descriptions make this the quintessential cat guide. Look elsewhere and you'll be left with a feeling of crippling disappointment. The section on "Unusual Breeds" is of particular importance.
I've owned this book for so many years. I dont even remember how it came to be in my possession. I figured it was finally time to read it. The book has great drawings and describes the different cats well, however I think it is out dated. It was published in the 80s so a lot might have changed in regards to how breeds of cats are defined. There might even be new breeds now. Anyway, it was worth a read but it is time to donate it so that it can find a new home.
