Do i enjoy it? Yes. Will i read it again? No. For some people, this book might come across as boring or too textbook-ish if the word even exists. I like it because i love travel and i love visiting the worshipping place regardless of any religion. If it's allowed me to enter, I'll go. I felt something is lacking with the book but i just can't place what is it. The barrier of language between Bahasa Malaysia and Indonesia also kinda add to the factor that i won't read it again. Our language is similar at certain point but i am used to english that i find reading in my native language kinda turning me off a little bit. Anyway, the book deserved 4/5 for a detailed description of the sacred places across the world.

Kecele sama buku ini, karena saat beli hanya membaca sinopsis sampul belakang sekilas terus langsung bawa ke kasir (biasanya saya suka melihat daftar isi dan scan cepat isinya). Ekspektasi saya, tempat-tempat suci tersebut ditulis dengan narasi yang dalam dan pengalaman batin penulis saat berkunjung. Ternyata, seperti daftar tempat dengan sedikit penjelasan saja. Ternyata pula, sub judul di sampulnya: "275 Tempat Inspiratif untuk Memperoleh Kegembiraan & Ketenteraman, serta Belajar Menjalani Hidup Secara Lebih Penuh". Pantesan. Penulis sepertinya hanya riset bibliografi, tidak mengunjungi semua tempat. Mestinya sih buku daftar tempat seperti ini dibuat berwarna dengan foto-foto, buku referensi gitu.

Buku referensi yang bagus yang saya hargai insights nya. Latar belakang yang cukup baik dan membuat kita jadi penasaran dalam travel selanjutnya untuk mengunjungi tempat-tempat suci dari berbagai kepercayaan di dunia ini.

Saran bagi penerbit:
1. Kalau bisa ada halaman index di bagian belakang buku agar pembaca dapat dengan mudah mereferensikan tempat-tempat suci ini berdasarkan: tujuan rohani, negara (yang dibagi lagi menjadi propinsi dan kota). Hal ini akan mempermudah religious travelers untuk mengatur perjalanan wisata rohani mereka.

2. Gambar situs (kalau bisa berwarna). Sehingga kami tidak perlu mencari-cari referensi tambahan di internet soal situs-situs menarik ini.
