I love it but it was not the best. despite that, I loved the twists at the end.

Chisha Gold lays down his life for king and country and then suddenly Rem, Flop and Katya are acting out a zombie apocalypse flick. Weird, *weird* fuckin volume of Re Zero and I kind of love it for that. Just kinda fw flimsy plot structuring giving away into borderline-campy genre-shift whiplash, reminds me of Dexter Season 8. Tappei’s talents aren’t all consistent but his most reliable seems to be in rendering ‘collapse’ in a way that almost always elicits a kind of delirious nightmarishness, even without the benefit of RBD’s lack of permanent consequences apparently. Here that manifests in a kind of comical horror, and I find it an agreeable antidote for the dull overgrowth of his battle tendencies (hehe) as of late

Das Finale von Arc 7, aber sicher nicht das Ende vom Vollakia Epos. Aber die Aufteilung hat ja nichts mit diesem Band zu tun. Ich liebe, wie in diesem Band der ganze Arc einen Wendepunkt erreicht und wir endlich verstehen, worum es überhaupt geht. Der Bürgerkrieg findet einen genialen Höhepunkt und diese Schlacht ist so verdammt komplex. So viele Kämpfe und coole Momente.

- Chishas Kapitel lässt einen den ganzen Arc auf neue Weise betrachten
- Das Ende ist der Hammer
- All die kleinen Nebenhandlungen laufen endlich zusammen

- Das Ende funktioniert nur, wenn man die erweiterten Geschichten kennt
- Warum spoilt das Cover den Twist?
- Man merkt, dass es mitten im ersten Höhepunkt abgebrochen wird
