This was a beautiful book on how to accept what Jesus has freely given through His death, and truly appreciating and therefore healing Jesus’s Heart. He was so hurt and offended, but as His faithful we have the power to ease that.

And it’s honestly more simple than I thought. We must simply give Him now what He did not have while on the cross: trust, faith, love towards Him and others, and accepting His gifts. He was and is reaching out, vulnerable for us, and He was rejected then but we can say yes and love Him now. It is being there for Him.

Excellent, thought provoking, life changing book by a favorite author of mine. Father Michael Gaitley has done excellent work here at presenting the Diary of Saint Faustina and organizing it go make it understandable.
