When God Doesn't Heal Now

Rate this book
God has healed in the past and wants to heal now. But though they pray in faith, go to healing meetings, and strive to have enough faith, many are not healed as they would wish to be. When God Doesn't Heal Now examines the myths about healing that are built on partial truths and looks at the profound relationship between prayer, healing, and the sovereignty of God. This guide offers a balanced look at teachings on healing, faith healers, and ways to bring biblical clarity to beliefs that often foster guilt, defeat, and despair when believers are not immediately healed. When God Doesn't Heal Now is an encouraging book which affirms the biblical truth that God is our healer.

As a transplant survivor, this book helped to dispel some myths about healing, faith, along with the truth in the Word that some evangelicals, teachers, preachers put out falsely.

This book helped me deal with issues of mistrust when God didn't heal people I've been faithfully praying for on a regular, consistent basis. This resulted in the building block of a wall I constructed between us, fearing to pray anymore about anything. The author looks at all the myths about healing that Christians are taught & dispels them replacing them with Biblical facts. I've read other books that deal with disappointment with God, but they didn't answer my questions, doubts, and fears. This book addresses every aspect you could want and leaves you being hopeful with a restored relationship to God on a higher level of intimacy & maturity.
