Through Lively text and vibrant illustrations, young readers can explore the captivating world of animals. How are these animals the same? How are they different? This series is aligned with the standard, "The Diversity of Life" as required by Benchmarks for Science Literacy: Project: 2061.
This was our nighttime story selected by my son. We got it from our public library. He is very big into interactive books at the moment. It is a cute story were you try to guess what nose the animal belongs to. He didn't pay as much attention during the first reading as I figured he would, but it was his last story read by daddy for the month since my husband was getting ready to leave for military training. My son was much more interested in daddy's gear than listening to a nighttime story. We'll read it again before we take it back to the library and hope for more interest!
Picture book Pre-school to Elementary Students Whoes Nose Is This is an interactive book that gives you hints as to what each nose does and where does it belong. This book exposes children to different animals and their habitats. It identifies them by their noses. I thing the ending should have a mirror at the end so that the reader could see their own nose.
My sons zoo class had this read to them. Its an excellent book for Prek-2 grade. It shows a picture of an animal nose to guess what the animal is and then it tells all about the animal. Great illustrations and animals facts.
It was fun to try to guess what animal each nose belongs with and I like how you can learn a little about the different types of noses, their functions and how animals use them.
each page of this book shows an animal nose and then gives you some interesting facts about the nose owner. Maybe a bit of stretch for toddlers but I'd like to try.
Fun, simple, and interactive. My 5- and 3-year-old both really like it, but I think it's a little young for my eldest- the target age seems to be 18 months to 3 years.
